I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.
16th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)I have just made a huge move for me personally in my retirement. I was lucky to have Lucy from the Hampstead branch dealing with my very specific needs and criteria. When I met her at the property I was struck by how friendly and approachable she was as well as very informed about the property. She guided me through the whole process in a professional yet friendly way and was alway in contact about the process and easy to contact when I had questions. I would highly recommend Hamptons and if you're lucky enough to get Lucy helping you in your search you will find your ideal new home! I have and I could not be happier! Thank you!!

20th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I’ve had the pleasure of working with Russell Simpson, and in particular Ali Carter, over a 14-year tenancy at Upper Cheyne Row in Chelsea and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the experience has been consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely collaborative. Ali has been a pleasure to deal with throughout, always approachable, efficient, and thoughtful in her communication. Over such a long tenancy, what stood out most was the level of trust, continuity, and mutual respect maintained on all sides. The recent end of tenancy process was handled seamlessly and in a very fair and constructive manner, which I greatly appreciated. It’s rare to find this level of service and consistency over such a long period, and I would not hesitate to recommend Ali and the wider Russell Simpson team to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-managed experience in Prime Central London. 18th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have just rented an apartment in London through the White Estates agency and I have been very happy with their level of service.<br><br>The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos, no negative surprises. I wanted to make multiple inspections and they were always available with less than 24h notice in order to let me in.<br><br>Important note: they were the only ones managing the specific apartment. You couldn't find it in multiple (often misleading) websites.<br><br>They have taken care of all the minor adjustments I have asked for prior to my check -in and they went above and beyond with replacing used items with brand new ones (like the moquette in the bedroom), something I hadn't asked.<br><br>There were some minor things that needed fixing which I discovered only after I lived in the place for some days and the agency's response was always the same: fast and efficient.<br><br>They also assisted my with the transfer of the utility bills under my name and the necessary bureaucracy which can be a pain in London.<br><br>Special thanks to Stefania & Karl for making my move to London smooth and pleasant.<br><br>I definitely recommend White Estates to anyone looking to rent a house in London.<br><br>Athanasios Mougios

Failure to address persistent mould issue - learned only by chance from former tenant that they had raised this concern as well without resolution by Oliver Burn. Upon end of tenancy they have made outlandish financial claims for supposed "third party" fees and are now improperly withholding the entirety of our deposit including even the amount they say is undisputed. Have had to pursue this matter via TDS.

They helped us with our initial purchase, to helping manage our property and most recently helped process the sale of our property in a very smooth manner. What sets them apart from others is the family feel, the friendly service and the fact they care. You don’t find that with many estate agents who take enormous pride with their work. If you are looking for a genuine estate agent who have great local expertise of Richmond, I would definitely recommend giving the Cantell Team a call

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!
