25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!

13th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Value of property from P property was recommended 270 which I felt was low. Decided to sell @ 280 as thought property was worth that. Luckily that’s the price I was offered. Abbie very good at her job on attending viewing. How ever very disappointed on communication & advertising Didn’t feel enough was done to promote the property felt that it had gone stagnant. Only one viewing at first back in September & second not until this Saturday 11th January. no phone call in between to reassure me that I could possible sell my house

3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)I have lived in my apartment for 3 years, my ancient boiler got condemned two weeks ago along with the cooker which was here when i moved in, it took the landlord nearly a week to respond to residential estates about the issues, then i was advised by residential lettings to report the landlord to the council disrepair department which i did and i may add i have a vulnerable child in my care as well, the council got in touch straight away and chased them up, 11 days later i get contacted by the gas engineer company to tell me the date of the new boiler, still nothing about a new cooker, i have spent a small fortune on food and electricity feeding us and keeping us warm, no contact from residential estates, they tried saying at one point that I couldn’t be contacted which is a lie, my roof is leaking i cannot sleep in my bedroom as the ceiling is wet and starting to mold, the wall is soaking wet! Not heard anything about the roof either, is this acceptable? Freezing cold, no cooker, cold wet bedroom? Lack of communication, no oil heaters which was said was going to be brought to the property? At this point I expect compensation and the issues to be dealt with swiftly!
3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.

6th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Habitats - now called Agreed. Really impressed with the concept and overall with the site and process. Very quick to get my property online, booked a floorplan and it was carried out very promptly, house was uploaded to Rightmove and Zoopla in now time and it sold in days (although that's down to market conditions too). Overall really happy although the actual site can be a tad glitchy and perhaps from a buyers point of view a bit more guidance is needed...my FTB struggled a bit. Help function generally very responsive though. Sale hasn't yet completed as we are only a week in but if all continues as it started they will deserve 5 stars and I've saved over £1k in agent fees.

She kept us informed of everything that was going on and is so friendly so made the whole process so much easier. We had dealt with quite a few estate agents however Aimee was the best we had spoken too and has such amazing knowledge. Thank you Aimee!
