I suspect there a number of fake/biased positive reviews here but -<br><br>Based on our experience with Anthony, I would advise prospective buyers to approach this estate agent with caution.<br><br>The process lacked transparency, and the explanations provided throughout left us with little confidence that matters were being handled in a fair and professional manner.<br><br>We recently made an initial offer on a property, which the estate agent described as “up there”. We understood this to mean it was among the highest offers at that stage. Although we subsequently increased our offer — ultimately making it the highest — the seller later indicated that we were not “committed” enough to the sale, citing our initial lower offer as the reason.<br><br>We had provided all requested information promptly, were in a very strong position (chain-free with a substantial deposit ready), and believed we had demonstrated clear commitment by increasing our offer. This experience left us feeling both puzzled and unfairly treated. It is disappointing when a higher offer is ultimately rejected based on subjective interpretations of an earlier bid, particularly when there is limited transparency regarding how decisions are being made.<br><br>The language used by the estate agents throughout the process often felt vague and slippery, leaving significant room for interpretation. Terms such as “up there” created expectations that later appeared inconsistent with the outcome, contributing to a sense that clear and straightforward communication was lacking.<br><br>When I later questioned how another offer had been accepted so quickly and how the process had moved forward without our knowledge, I raised concerns that there may have been preferential treatment towards another party. This was met with an extremely aggressive response. Anthony repeatedly jabbed and banged his finger on the table while raising his voice in what felt like an embarrassing attempt to intimidate me. Equally concerning was the fact that the other agents present simply sat back and watched without intervening or attempting to de-escalate the situation. Their lack of action suggested that such behaviour was either tolerated or considered acceptable within the office, which raises serious concerns about the standards of professionalism maintained by this agency.<br><br>Overall, this was not a pleasant experience and has left us with significant concerns regarding the fairness, transparency, and professionalism of the process. The combination of unclear communication, questionable decision-making, and intimidating behaviour has severely undermined our trust in this estate agent and their handling of the sale.
4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Philip Hunter worked on the purchase of our property. He was helpful and worked hard to get the purchase completed within the required timeline. Whilst always having his client's best interests at heart (i.e. the seller), he went above and beyond to ensure that we had all the information that we needed to proceed. We were impressed by his dedication and organisation (in particular, coordinating multiple parties, lawyers and keeping us updated). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

4th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Slow to give feedback on viewings. I had to chase after a couple of days but improved when I complained. Some rushed viewings . One agent arrived and said it had to be quick and she had asked the buyer to come earlier. Another told a late buyer asked to come at 8.45am on arrival that they only had 15 minutes so it would be a quick look . We were told they had a large database of buyers but I wonder if just relying on the property listings and their database algorithms to find people was enough. They did offer us a premium listing months later when I asked what else could be done and this generated viewings . Unable to arrange one second viewing and blamed staff absence for not contacting the buyer when I rang up a week later and the buyer did not return their call. People not getting back to them happened a lot . We were never shown any evidence of their contacts with people . It's a shame as they understood the market and provided a lot of information about why viewings were sparse due to external factors.Pleasant staff with good local knowledge. We gave them a long period as it was a tough time to sell but did decide to find another agent in the end as they did not seem that proactive .
11th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)The worst estate agents in Amersham by far.<br>-We viewed 4 properties with Robsons and the agents showing us around often contradicted the property brochures.<br>-For two properties we looked to buy, we were advised not to bother viewing, both are still up on the market.<br>-We were pressured by staff into cancelling a viewing unless an offer was put in at the viewing, that house now remains on the market 3 months later.- 31st Oct 2022 (3 years ago)We have just completed our house sale through Robsons and are very pleased with the outcome. All the team at Robsons have been fully committed from the beginning. We must say a special thank you to the sales progression team who went the extra mile and pushed the sale along, especially in those moments when it looked like things were slowing down. A few judicious emails and phone calls soon had things back on track. We would certainly recommend Robsons

Ours was a complex case but Ian & Denise’s support made every step hassle-free and resulted in an outcome that was best for all. The whole team’s communication and professionalism throughout has been outstanding and we cannot recommend the firm highly enough!

He went out of his way to help us every step of the journey, with a level of care and professionalism that is genuinely rare. If you want someone who truly helps you through the whole process, Anthony is your guy. Highest possible recommendation!

13th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)2023 was a difficult year in the housing market. Wye were relentless trying to tempt a buyer for our property. Yes we did have to drop our price a little, but that was the only way to sell! There were very few properties to look at, but Wye took on board our wish list, found the house (before it was even on the market) and even found a property for the vendor to complete the chain! We ended up in a very large chain, but Wye navigated us through with barely a hitch. Thank you very much Nicole, Ian and Sarah - Highly recommended!!- 6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We used Frost for the sale of our property recently. We were most pleased with their performance. Jackie assisted us and was an excellent communicator from start to finish. The transaction moved swiftly as per our requirement and exchanged within 6.5 weeks of offer agreed. I would definitely use them again!

Having moved the property away from another local agent, we needed a managing agent to find good-quality tenants and look after the property. They did, like it was their own! Moving a few years forward, this family owned company have been lovely to deal with and have really ensured they exceed our expectations. Not only have we dealt with their lettings department but also their sales team. The Binks Sales team were equally brilliant! They were very attentive, knowledgeable, supportive and really helped us get through the sale. We experienced a very tricky sales market and complicated chain. Thankfully they were with us every step of the way and have now completed. Great job and thank you again!
13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I’ve just moved out of a flat I was renting from a private landlord, with Hadlands taking over towards the end of my tenancy. I must say I honestly wasn’t expecting, based on my experience with the very friendly, polite staff there, to be taken advantage of upon vacating the flat we had been renting for just over two years.<br><br>On the morning of our leaving, I had an end of tenancy clean booked that unfortunately was cancelled at very very short notice. So I cleaned the flat myself with a 7 month old baby in tow. Hadlands charged £110 for an oven clean which I fully accept, the oven should be professionally cleaned before new tenants move in, I had no issue at all with that.<br><br>However, they also had the cheek to charge me three hundred great British pounds to clean the flat. Sure, there were a few things I missed, I didn’t clean behind the radiators or on top of the kitchen cabinets and I didn’t clean the dust from the bathroom extractor fan. To add context to my review, I’ve attached pictures of exactly how I left the flat the morning of the last day of our tenancy, I think it’s entirely unreasonable to charge such an extortionate amount and it really put a dampener on leaving a place that was so special to us and one we took good care of throughout our tenancy.<br><br>EDIT: I have attached the invoice for the cleaning charge that apparently had nothing to do with Hadlands. Whilst Hadlands are correct that they didn’t charge me for cleaning directly, this is the charge presented to my landlord, by Hadlands, that they charged to clean the flat which obviously passed down to me at the previous tenant. I stand by my review and will not be removing it as £300 to clean the flat pictured below is an excessive and wholly unreasonable amount to charge.- 7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)Jacqui and the Frost Partnership Estate Agents have been taking care of our recent purchase of a property in Chesham. I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
