8th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)The valuation of my property was too high - I queried it, but the manager assured me it was achievable. It wasn't - I had just two viewings. I dropped the price by £10k in the end, but by then it had been on the market too long and was looking stale. Bradleys also has a deal with Homewise, a scheme for the over-60s that offers a reduced price in return for an equity stake. I specifically stated in the contract that I did not wish to be included in the Homewise scheme. Despite this, my property appeared on Rightmove with the Homewise listing at £65k less than the full-price listing. It looked very confusing and made the higher figure look overpriced. It took three calls/emails to get the Homewise listing removed. Feedback was generally poor and there were no suggestions about to how to improve marketing. One sales assistant did her best, but Bradleys seem to run the office on a shoestring.

24th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I lived far away and they allowed me to take on my home via video viewing. Which was great. All my paperwork and checks were done smoothly and they were very helpful. Still rent from these guys and never have any issues.

25th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)Manager Mark Price and his team at Jackson Stops in Truro worked relentlessly towards a successful completion on the sale of our house in the Isles of Scilly. Unfortunately, after five stressful months dealing with a very difficult buyer, it was clearly not meant to happen and the sale fell through. Throughout, Mark Price showed true professionalism - always proactive and on hand to give advice and keep communications going. Mark Price and his team at Jackson Stops Truro comes highly recommended for anyone wanting to sell or buy a property.

Highly recommended!- 24th Jul 2025 (7 mo. ago)Its a difficult market for selling. Properties are listed in abundance with valuations perhaps starting too high. Buyers are few and far between which meant that we had only 4 viewings over the same number of months. Every viewing is therefore critical and needs your agent to be fully appraised of features and any questions answered. Initial valuations versus actual market sale price need to be considered carefully.

20th Jun 2025 (8 mo. ago)We’ve had our two flats in Torquay managed by Henrietta Klimkova at Haart since we relocated to the UAE in 2017. Although we faced some financial challenges along the way, Henrietta consistently delivered excellent support and maintained meticulous records. When the time came to sell in June 2025, her attention to detail and compliance with UK property management standards made the entire process significantly smoother. I’ll admit I used to question the fees—particularly for handling the property tax returns—but in hindsight, it was money well spent. I highly recommend their services, especially if you’re based overseas and need a reliable property manager. Even if it feels costly at first, trust me: when it comes time to sell, you’ll be grateful for the structure, documentation, and peace of mind they provide. 9th Aug 2024 (1 year ago)I hate writing awful reviews but sometimes it’s a must. Me and my boyfriend were on the search for a new property. We were so excited to view a property in Chagford. All was smooth sailing, we moved in mega quick and we were so happy. 3 months in my boyfriend reads me an email tonight to say after the 6 months we won’t be extending your tenancy. We are both are shock, people have been so quick to moan and complain about us but never hear our side. I’ve reported so many problems about our house and it doesn’t even get the slightest attention to fix the problems and we are worried we are going to be penalised for something’s that aren’t our fault. Ive been here so many times after hearing this is a long term let, 6 months goes by and you got to move on, we are good decent, hard working young couple who is just trying to find our way and we are being kicked out for made up reasons our neighbours have lied about. We don’t deserve this. You just cannot win in this world!

They had our best interests at heart, kept us updated each step of the way, held out to get us the best possible price for our property and were very professional and friendly. Thank you very much to such a team of dedicated professionals.
13th May 2022 (3 years ago)I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties. Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.

They helped us chase out solicitors who weren’t playing ball and worked really hard to get the sale completed before Christmas thank you so much!
4th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.
9th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)STAY CLEAR FROM HERE THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES they promised us that with a guarantor our bad credit wouldn't matter just so they could keep our holding fee absolute horrible company don't fall for there tricks , my wife became very sick after dealing with these crooks, every bit of information that we knew about which was most was revealed to them and after they convincing us with a guarantor this couldn't happen they still kept it , legal action is the only way you will get your money bk We have been through the complaint procedure with no success this is exactly what you want people to do when there homeless or nearly homeless you do this and hope people will roll over lie and more lies
