It was my first mortgage as a single applicant and he made every process stress free and easy. His knowledge is impeccable, he always tries to find the right products for his clients and it truly feels personal centred. He kept me updated throughout the whole procedure and was always happy to answer my silly questions and made me feel valued. Very very happy.

Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.

From valuation, accompanied viewing and feedback, nothing was too much trouble, which culminated in a successful sale, keeping me informed at every stage of the process. I have no hesitation in recommending them as a provider of a highly professional service.

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We saw a property we liked in ferndown and offered. Our offer was not accepted outright without giving us a chance to rethink the offer like the other agents did.emails back and forth no use. Saw the property had gone for a mere £1000 above our offer. The agent who showed us the property had already decided it was not to be given to us for some strange reason so I am not surprised. Also promised to keep their “ear on the ground “ to let us know if any other property came by in that area. Never heard from them again! Probably they have more clients they exclusively like to cater to so didn’t bother to with us. The property was a lovely one though so happy for whoever got it. But a big thumbs down for this estate agent unless you are one of those kind they wish to cater to. Helena- 19th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I found Goadsby (Bridport) to be an excellent agent. They were excellent in all aspects of the sale from the initial valuation, communication throughout the process and quick in finding a suitable buyer.

She was professional, understanding of the complexity of our circumstances and worked tirelessly with excellent communication throughout the process which helped to provide us with reassurance and peace of mind. I highly recommend this estate agent and would use them again in the future if circumstance ever arose. Thank you! We are very happy with our new home.

They gave sound advice and a genuine valuation. They were very quick in answering any questions that we had and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
26th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Moved in 2022, fire alarms not fitted just left in kitchen cupboards, mouldy and broken white goods left in place, thick mould on floors and walls. Was told it was inspected and nothing to worry about. Didn’t mind as we agreed we could carry out work to make the flat liveable and we love the area so moved in. In two years we have replaced our furniture over 4 times due to mould. 2024 come to move out, baring in mind we have spent over £1000 on flooring and decorating, carter shaw phone to tell me the decorating is not great. The walls are literally falling down and furry with mould, despite us cleaning them every week, which we have emailed countless times about to no avail. I also have doctors notes stating mould as a cause for an asthma attack. If Carter Shaw would like to say any of this is a lie I can attach emails and pictures. Avoid!
