15th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Our experience with this agent was extremely disappointing and, frankly, shocking. We initially viewed the property with the vendor, and everything seemed positive. The house was listed just under £760k. At the time, our budget could stretch to around £700k (possibly slightly more). We were told this wouldn’t be enough as there was an offer of £725k on the table, although that buyer still needed to sell. On that basis, we stepped back. Several weeks later, after running the numbers again and while our own sale was uncertain, we increased our offer to £710k. After a lengthy phone conversation, the agent told us repeatedly that £725k was the figure required for a deal and that anything below this would not be considered. We were also told the vendor was thinking of withdrawing the property from the market until spring. Once our buyer had sold again, we managed to stretch to £725k and arranged a second viewing to finalise matters. During that viewing, the vendor was surprised to hear that £725k had been presented as an acceptable figure — she stated she had never told the agent she would accept this and was actually looking for much closer to £750k. When we raised this with the agent, they denied everything that had previously been said and refused to provide call recordings to clarify the situation. When pressed, the conversation became abrupt and the phone call was cut off. Had we simply been told from the start that the vendor wanted closer to £750k, we would have accepted that and made an informed decision. Instead, we were repeatedly told that £725k was the deal figure, only to later discover this was not true. This showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency, wasted time, and caused unnecessary stress. My advice to anyone dealing with this agent is to record your own conversations. In our case, clear discussions were later denied and no call recordings were provided when requested.

He's answered every question I've had, explained everything in detail and has kept me updated the whole way through. Everyone in the office has been very welcoming and polite too - I would definitely recommend.

At every stage, we’ve been impressed with the blend of confidence, initiative and expertise shown by the team handling our sale and next purchase. Sophie has been a total star - always keeping things moving and keeping us in the loop too. When the inevitable bumps in the road occurred, Sophie went above and beyond to get us back on track. Highly recommend.

8th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)As an estate agent and a Landlord myself, I was somewhat hesitant when it came to needing to use another agent when moving to a different area in the county. Having sold my own house very quickly indeed to a cash buyer, I found myself in urgent need of a short term rental property while I look for a property to buy. I initially approached one the well known agents in Westbourne and after a truly awful experience, I approached Jamie at key Drummond for help. This was the start of what has turned out to be a great experience for me. Jamie, I can honestly say, is the true personification of total professionalism, integrity and great customer care. He pulled out all the stops and even did the viewings himself after hours. He found me a great house to rent at very short notice and I was in within a week. As an agent myself I know how much work is involved so I did really appreciate his efforts. I am now hopefully buying a house through Jamie. To this end, I can wholeheartedly recommend Jamie as THE man to contact for anything property related in Canford Cliffs whether selling or letting your property or becoming a tenant, he outshines the rest by a mile!

Daniel was professional, easy to communicate with, and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. Buying a property can be stressful, but he made everything feel much smoother by being responsive, honest, and reliable whenever we had questions or needed updates. What really stood out was how trustworthy and genuine he was. He clearly cared about helping things progress and making sure everything was handled properly, which gave us a lot of confidence during the purchase. Overall, Daniel was a great person to deal with, and we’re very grateful for the help and support he gave us while buying our home. 16th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Very poor service and a lack of respect and professionalism. We left Oxford having made an appointment to view a property, Georgina was fully aware of our travels and commitment. However having sat outside the property for over 30 mins we decided we needed to eat and walk the dog. On returning home there was an email to say they did not have the staff. We travelled 136 miles, they had to walk 500 yards! I politely requested a contribution towards our fuel costs, not out time, distress or inconvenience, just our fuel. Not even the decent thing and reply. It is my intention share this feedback on other sites locally.

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We saw a property we liked in ferndown and offered. Our offer was not accepted outright without giving us a chance to rethink the offer like the other agents did.emails back and forth no use. Saw the property had gone for a mere £1000 above our offer. The agent who showed us the property had already decided it was not to be given to us for some strange reason so I am not surprised. Also promised to keep their “ear on the ground “ to let us know if any other property came by in that area. Never heard from them again! Probably they have more clients they exclusively like to cater to so didn’t bother to with us. The property was a lovely one though so happy for whoever got it. But a big thumbs down for this estate agent unless you are one of those kind they wish to cater to. From the initial viewing through to exchange and completion, they were professional, responsive and proactive throughout. What really stood out was their communication and calm persistence in progressing the purchase. They kept all parties aligned, followed up where needed, and ensured momentum was maintained at key moments. Overall an excellent service with particular thanks to Darren and Chris.

16th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)I've bought and sold several times and had experiences ranging from OK to utterly awful. I chose Michael Adam to sell a close relation's property, due to needing to move them into care. We chose the agent after getting three agents to value the house. Their valuation wasn't the highest, nor were their fees the cheapest but we instantly liked Stuart and Debbie and felt comfortable dealing with them, they made no outlandish claims and appeared to be genuine and straightforward. Having come out of the process and had time to reflect I thought I'd leave a review. At the time the market wasn't the best and the sale wasnt the quickest, but we had plenty of viewings and the property was quite quirky, which we'd already discussed. However the communications and discussions we had were always cordial, callbacks prompt and we were always kept in the loop. There was never any pressure to be pushed into decisions, I always felt it was a fully collaborative process, and I got genuinely useful and good advice, not pressure to sell quickly and at any price. The property did sell successfully and though we had a few bumps in the road (not caused by them) we got it across the line. I would wholeheartedly recommend them. And that's something I don't think I've ever said about an estate agent before!

12th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We had a great experience with Lloyd Young Homes and would highly recommend them to anyone. Everything was done with us in mind and not just getting the sale. We were kept informed of all and any developments and treated as if we were their only client. Very personable service from Lloyd and always very responsive to our many thoughts and ideas. After not moving for over 41 years Lloyd made this a relatively easy, pleasant experience. Lloyd also really made sure he knew all the details about our house so he could answer all questions put to him by any prospective buyers, which was not the same for several other estate agents in the area that we went to see properties with. So all in all a very positive and pleasant experience in something that is not always that easy to go through, and if want a more personal approach to selling your home, these are the guys to go with.
