We also used a company called D C Law in regards to the legal conveyancing which made the sale of our property run smoothly this was recommended to us by Fox and Sons. Five star service from all concerned.

17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!
23rd Dec 2022 (3 years ago)I haven’t sold with them and I’ve had to chase them for every little thing. Very poor communication and now the market has taken a turn for the worse and I’m left unsold.
16th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)Stuart was very easy to contact throughout the process. Although the office is not usually open on a Saturday he kindly came out for us to do a viewing on two separate occasions and allowed us to have a good look around without any rush. Efficient communication via email and phone which led to us being in our new home and nicely settled!
30th Mar 2022 (3 years ago)Not very good. Not very proactive and little to no feedback. Would not recommend. They also need to get up to date with market trends and new techniques of selling properties. Left them and sold with another agent.
25th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)They did what I am paying them to do and they remained patient and helpful. They were sometimes let down by lack of feedback from customers which is not their fault. A long process but got there in the end amd thanks to everyone there????????????????????????
6th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)The valuation representative was very competent, courteous, supportive and very observant, understanding why things had been designed the way they are. The photographer presenting our property was more thoughtful and his pictures were better than others. From feedback received, it was clear that this agent actively, and positively, sells the advantages of the property to viewers. Finally this agent has been innovative with the intent of getting everything right.
2nd May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I was very pleased with the service provided by my estate agent. Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.
6th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I would definitely not recommend Goadsby based on recent experience as a buyer. They were extremely pushy, unprofessional and much more interested in their commission than providing an honest delivery of service. Avoid at all costs.
20th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)As a tenant, I’ve had a very positive two years with Mays letting agents from start to finish. The whole team has been friendly, approachable and consistently professional. On the rare occasions where issues did come up, they were dealt with quickly and efficiently - it definitely made a real difference throughout my tenancy.
12th May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I would highly recommend this agent for going above and beyond to progress my sale to it's conclusion. They have always been positive throughout a complex sales process. They have communicated well with myself and all other parties. I have always been able to rely on them for accurate market advice and honest assessment.
10th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Really bad experience. They completely misrepresented the property we were purchasing, saying that "all let's and pets" permitted. Turned out that neither was true, and even when we initially queried it following a response from our solicitor was assured that deeds of variation were in place to allow both. Untrue. When we withdrew from the sale and wrote a letter of complaint to them, they didn't even bother to respond. Avoid

26th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Moved in 2022, fire alarms not fitted just left in kitchen cupboards, mouldy and broken white goods left in place, thick mould on floors and walls. Was told it was inspected and nothing to worry about. Didn’t mind as we agreed we could carry out work to make the flat liveable and we love the area so moved in. In two years we have replaced our furniture over 4 times due to mould. 2024 come to move out, baring in mind we have spent over £1000 on flooring and decorating, carter shaw phone to tell me the decorating is not great. The walls are literally falling down and furry with mould, despite us cleaning them every week, which we have emailed countless times about to no avail. I also have doctors notes stating mould as a cause for an asthma attack. If Carter Shaw would like to say any of this is a lie I can attach emails and pictures. Avoid!
16th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)Jack and George were a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. They were always punctual, responsive, and kept on top of everything from start to finish. Every question or point I raised was addressed, and they consistently got back to me promptly and when they said they would. I couldn’t be happier with both the purchase and the outlook for the future. If I ever need the services of an estate agent again, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Jack or George to handle the sale. Thanks again, guys — the gift at the end was a really nice touch.
5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)We have been renting our property with Berkeleys over the last 10 years and can’t recommend them highly enough . Have recently commenced a new tenancy. Ellie and Georgie have been exceptional in finding the right tenants for us and organising all that is necessary to get the tenancy started. They are a great team, know their stuff and a delight to deal with.
