3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!

23rd Jan 2024 (2 years ago)Jacob has been the most helpful and patient estate agent we've had the pleasure of dealing with, and believe me, there's been quite a few! Jacob understood exactly the type of property we were looking for from our the first meeting. He suggested multiple properties that matched our criteria and were available for viewings, making our experience so much easier because we didn't have to spend hours trawling through properties sites anymore. He was able to book the viewings at times that suited our needs and accomidated our every request. If you're looking for an estate agent that will make your property search easy and stress free, look no further.

From the very start, they were fantastic communicators, professional, proactive, and clearly knew their craft. Within just three months, my property was sold. I honestly couldn’t believe the speed or the expertise of the team, but most importantly, they delivered exactly what they promised. A huge thank you to City & County for making the process feel seamless from start to finish.

1st Jan 2024 (2 years ago)4 viewings in 6 months says it all. And that was AFTER they told us to reduce the price. No communication on a regular basis and totally inflexible. We were keen to sell, offered to do an open house, they said it wouldn’t work. We asked if we could go multiagency because we weren’t satisfied and were given a clear NO.
2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)Avoid at all costs — Complete Trap!<br>Don't trust them and don't get trapped. They are incredibly nice and welcoming right up until you make your deposit and move in. However, the moment you inform them that you are moving out, they show their real face. Total scammers! Save your money and your sanity—look elsewhere.
16th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)I recently purchased a house from Harrison rose and i have to say the service i received from them was outstanding the whole way through, and they weren’t even my estate agent! Between a long chain and my solicitor not being the quickest the whole thing took longer than I had hoped but Sonya and Paul were amazing throughout, sending frequent updates as to where we were along the way and even helping to chase my slow solicitor. As a first time buyer the process was a little stressful but their understanding and patience made it all much easier. I have no plans of selling but if i ever do, i know exactly who I'm going to use.

24th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I would like to write about my personal experience with Firmin and Co specific for excellent agent Sobia Hussain about her support and co-operation to get very quickly a great Apartment suitable for standard family. I highly appreciate her efforts to search home for me considering my daughter is about a year old without much struggling. Excellent cooperation all the time I have had an issue related to property. Thanks a lot for your kind support so far.
8th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Worse experience with them, was looking to rent a house through them.. they wanted a holding deposit to check my credit scores, if I fail the credit score then I don’t get my money back.. surely that’s not right? Anyway, spoke to their manager and she agreed on doing the credit check without a holding deposit of £250, baring in kind that’s a lot of money, I’m glad my credit check failed otherwise I wouldn’t of got that money back. Ever, please be aware of this scam, they just want £250 and will deliberately fail a credit check or say you can’t afford the rent so they keep the money for themselves. my conversation with Ellie from Belvoir Bourges Boulevard I have checked the law too.. it’s against the law to take a non refundable deposit to do a credit check.

Tried to take our whole deposit due to apparently not giving notice when moving but we had, Gemma didn’t communicate within the work place. Had to keep contacting them to get a response about our deposit. No one ever replied unless we had emailed them 4/5 times. Very quick to be on your case when needing something but slow as a snail if you need anything sorted. Every time we hit a roadblock (which were many from my solicitors side) katie did all she could chasing up and keeping me informed. She went over and beyond to help in her caring manner. After a very stressful few months we completed yesterday. I would recommend connells in Peterborough and if you have the pleasure working along Katie she will honestly do more than her given job requires. Thank you Katie. We finally got there.
