Jacob understood exactly the type of property we were looking for from our the first meeting. He suggested multiple properties that matched our criteria and were available for viewings, making our experience so much easier because we didn't have to spend hours trawling through properties sites anymore. He was able to book the viewings at times that suited our needs and accomidated our every request. 9th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)I can’t recommend Woodcock Holmes enough. Right from the first enquiry they responded quickly and came to view my property within a couple of days. Rob (Manager) talked me through his recommended asking price and the reasons for it, showed his local knowledge and wasn’t the least bit pushy. Adrian (Manager) has been great too with polite, non pushy calls and email communication. They found me a buyer within two weeks of listing with them.

Managing the sale from overseas added some complexity, but Paul made it incredibly straightforward, regularly keeping me updated, providing useful market feedback and often responding well outside normal working hours to accommodate the significant time difference.<br><br>What stood out most was how proactive and personally involved he was throughout. He didn’t simply pass things on to others; he took ownership, chased actions across all parties and helped drive the sale through to completion.<br><br>I’m extremely appreciative of the service I received and would have no hesitation recommending the William H Brown Yaxley team, and Paul in particular, to anyone looking to sell a property in the area.
1st Jan 2024 (2 years ago)4 viewings in 6 months says it all. And that was AFTER they told us to reduce the price. No communication on a regular basis and totally inflexible. We were keen to sell, offered to do an open house, they said it wouldn’t work. We asked if we could go multiagency because we weren’t satisfied and were given a clear NO.

Their professionalism, dedication, communication and knowledge of the market really stood out. To have my house listed on 2nd September and receive an offer that I was happy to accept on 16th September — exactly two weeks later — is an amazing result, and it’s a real testament to how hard they worked to get the right outcome. They went above and beyond throughout the whole process, keeping everything moving and making what can be such a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable. The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.
