I am very grateful for the work she has done to help me get to where I am now with the sale. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgable state agent.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)I am leaving a 5 star review however this is simply for Chloe McPhee in the Hamilton office of Countrywide (sadly now moved to another office). We vetted several letting agents and chose Countrywide due to how personal Chloe made the process and how much she kept us in touch with what was going on. Becoming a landlord was a new venture and she made it all very easy.<br>Since she has moved I have had zero correspondence from the office (Chloe has kept in touch despite not being her role anymore...thank you Chloe), and I was only aware the tenants had even moved in after emailing Chloe to find out.<br><br>Thankfully the tenants move in was smooth and I have visited them to iron out a couple of mainetance issues I wanted to get done.<br>5 Stars for Chloe.- 29th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)Paula sold my Aunts house and took a lot of the stress off I would recommend this branch for the helpfulness of the staff Thank you
22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)We had a great experience with Charlie from harbour he let us know what was happening throughout the process very helpful in every way sold our property very quickly and got over the asking price also the girl in the office was lovely and so helpfull as we are older and haven't delt with selling for many years they were so helpfull couldn't get any better treatment or service.- 25th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)Countrywide were very knowledgeable of the area and offered very competitive pricing. They kept us updated every step of the process and made the overall experience very easy and positive.

My dealings have been with the Shawlands branch, through whom I recently purchased my flat. They have been: unfailingly helpful; conducted the viewing in a friendly and knowledgeable way ( not my universal experience with other estate agents covering this part of Glasgow); highly responsive in getting answers to all my questions; and efficient in handling all aspects of the buying process.<br>I would unhesitatingly recommend them. My sincere thanks to Ellenor and her team.<br>PS Just in case you’re wondering, they did not invite me to make this review, I offered to write one because they deserve praise for the way they conducted business with me.

13th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)Rettie were by far the most unhelpful agents possible. I had an issue with the radiator which I kept asking them about and they refused to help for over 3 weeks in the depths of winter! I had to buy a heated blanket. Then there was a gas issue which they never told us about which we had to get sorted ourselves. Finally, upon leaving the property, Rettie decided to claim there was a stain on the bed underside and deducted a huge amount of deposit even though the stain was there originally. I would never ever use Rettie again!

19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)The team at Corum has been extremely supportive during the time it took to sell our house, with regular updates and a friendly ear and voice anytime we called! We really valued their expertise and knowledge of the local market, as we wanted to buy in the same postcode. Let’s face it, buying and selling a home is stressful, but we felt that Corum was on our side the whole time!<br>So many thanks to you all, Corum West End!- 31st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Transaction not concluded at time of review, but it seems to be going well.

8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I received a first class service from AB Property Consultants from the start to finish.<br><br>From Alex at my initial meeting to discuss selling my flat, to Lesley & Corey dealing with my flat sale & viewings of other houses.<br><br>Also the professional photography, videos & drone shots they did of my flat were great. They give buyers the first impression of your place, so you want it to be of good quality, which it was.<br><br>I had my first viewer on 23rd July & my flat was sold at closing date on 11th August. So a super service! Thanks.

From Day 1, there was no 'Sales' pitch, just honest good advice and i immediately trusted them - they new the market inside out! The sale of our flat was slightly complex but we worked through a strategy together and the outcome exceeded all our expectations. WE worked together and they made it so easy for us. A big thanks to you all.

9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)Shocking experience where the aggressive incompetent sales manageress tried to upsell me on a dodgy ex rental where the previous owner had made a mess of a renovation 20 years ago. Yes - Im English but Im not stupid or responsible for something 500 years ago!!!
24th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Yates Hellier. From the start Ross explained the whole process very clearly and put my mind at ease. I chose Yates Hellier as I was impressed with their promises of a more personal touch than the larger West End estate agents and they did not disappoint. Ross and Lisa were very easy to deal with . They were in constant communication with updates and viewings. The whole process from marketing to viewings went incredibly smoothly. Even when my initial buyer pulled out at the last minute, Ross and Lisa swooped into action and found another buyer in a matter of hours! Ross and Lisa dealt with all aspects of selling my flat and clearly know their stuff. They were highly professional, kept in constant touch and we sold our flat for a price we were delighted with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)I rented through this branch (Slater Hogg & Howison, West End). The landlord served a Notice to Leave and I ended the tenancy early. Since checking out in August, getting my unused rent refunded has been slow and frustrating.<br><br>The refund took many weeks and repeated chasing.<br>The branch confirmed a refund amount in writing, but a later head-office complaint response offered a lower amount without a clear explanation of the difference.<br>I received conflicting answers from different people and was passed between the branch and head office.<br>As of 20 October 2026, I have not received the rent refund.<br><br>I have a formal complaint open and will update this review once it is resolved. Clearer communication and prompt handling of client money would have made a big difference.<br><br>Update: the rent refund was eventually paid on 22 October, after several weeks of chasing and a formal complaint.- 30th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)Used slater Hogg dennistoun to sell my house.
