We have always found Claire and Lindsey in BMH Lettings to be excellent managers of our property, dealing with reported issues as at an early stage, to ensure that things didn't escalate, and always keeping us up to date with issue resolution.<br>In addition, they always were able to come up with recommended trades required to deal with any problems, as and when - and at a good price.<br>As a consequence, we would be happy to recommend them to any landlord looking at letting out their property in the area. They would be the first Letting agency we would go to should we ever need to rent out another property in the area.

It didn’t matter which member of the team we called, they all seemed to have an understanding of what we needed, could answer our questions and give us lots of advice and reassurance throughout our sale, as well as supporting us with our forward purchase. It never felt pushy, more a group of people who had our best interests at heart and that really helped when we went through some of the inevitable ups and downs of a house sale. We’d have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else thinking of selling up in North East Lincolnshire. We worked more closely with Doug and Lexi and they were very supportive but honestly, the rest of the team were great too, from the photos, video, taking our calls, answering our emails and even the times when I popped into the office, nothing was ever too much trouble.

However, the level of communication regarding viewing of our property was poor, on four occasions buyers turned up with your agent without any prior warning to ourselves of the proposed visit! a very embarrassing situation for all concerned. Overall we were satisfied with their service

25th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)i put a offer in to ideal properties for cash buyer and the estate agent was extremely rude . said things like don't waste your time viewing if your not going to give 105 000 . he didn't put the offer through properly and was to be honest not professional at all . terrible experience and was demeaning man . terrible tone of voice and non negotiable words . this has made me reluctant to deal with your company in the future and i am a investor. thank you
4th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I had a terrible experience with this estate agent. From the start, they were misleading and untrustworthy. They expected me to secure a mortgage within 20 days, even though banks typically take 1 to 3 months on average. When I viewed the property, I noticed construction work nearby. I called to ask what was being built, and the sales manager claimed they had no information. Later, my solicitor discovered that the vendor was actually retaining part of the land, leaving only a small garden—something the agent failed to disclose. To make matters worse, she wants to put the property back to market agent accused me of money laundering, despite my having a clear financial record and paying taxes on every penny I earn. When I challenged this false claim, she abruptly ended the call, said she didn’t trust my bank, and immediately put the property back on the market—without informing the vendor. I had already spent money on a solicitor, valuation, and mortgage broker fees, which I wouldn’t have gotten back if the agent had secured another buyer. Fortunately, I informed my solicitor, who contacted the vendor’s solicitor. It turned out the vendor had no idea the property was relisted, and they assured us that no other viewings would be allowed. This experience was stressful and costly. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this estate agent.- 8th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)Would highly recommend Lovelle, Humberston. Everyone we met were friendly and supportive. Photographer Lovelle uses is excellent and also gave us good advice. From start to finish Lovelle staff have been professional and made the whole process straightforward and everything went smoothly. The house sale completion date occurred 7 weeks after the day an offer was made!

Their knowledge of the local market, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile have made the buying process straightforward and stress-free. They are always available to answer questions, provide updates, and offer honest advice. What really stands out is how well they look after both buyers and sellers. You genuinely feel that they care about achieving the best outcome for everyone involved rather than simply completing a transaction. As a property investor, I’ve dealt with many estate agents over the years, and Crofts are easily among the best. Professional, friendly, reliable, and highly knowledgeable. Ensured only good quality viewers with high potential to proceed were shown round. Professional photography included as part of the package. There was no paying for add ons - what you see is what you get. House selling process is stressful as it is and Relo were always on hand to have a conversation, giving viewer feedback etc.
