8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I would leave 0 stars if I could.<br>We viewed a property on 8th September and took the time to complete an application, but never received an update on the outcome. I chased this up and was told they were still waiting to hear back from the landlord. Since then, we have heard absolutely nothing.<br>As of 8th October, we have still not been informed of the outcome. We can only assume our application was unsuccessful, which is absolutely fine, but the least you expect is to be told rather than being left completely in the dark.<br>It is really disappointing to spend time viewing a property, completing an application and then chasing for an update, only to receive no communication whatsoever. A simple message to let us know the outcome would have been basic courtesy and professionalism.<br>Unfortunately, this experience has left us really disappointed with Alan Slater Estate Agents, and I would not recommend them based on the lack of communication

However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. I am grateful to GetAgent for putting me in touch with Yourmove in Keighley. Yourmove provided an exceptional service, I was kept informed of updates and a buyer was secured in good time. 20th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Have been waiting for two weeks for a response to questions I asked re repairs and lack of property income statements, terrible service since the business was taken over by the new owners. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
