Finally we were especially impressed with their comms, always to the point and timely. Overall they set a high, reassuring standard.

Jennifer Catchpole handled our sale and she was just excellent along with all her collegues. Communication was excellent from the start and they made the whole process so much easier for us. Thank you ever so much for all your efforts we both really appreciate it.

19th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)Some of the property management agents at Martin & Co are polite and respectful. They respond quickly and answer questions promptly. I would like to give my thanks to Emily.<br><br>I had a difficult experience when I was locked into my apartment on a particularly hot day, called the emergency line and then had to call a locksmith. No one answered the emergency line after sending a text and leaving voicemails. They didn’t even believe the lock had an issue until their locksmith came. I was left with a bill of £180 and was promised my the agent that I would be refunded. This never happened. Worst experience ever.

24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)Jade was absolutely fantastic! Always available for any questions and help (as some ridiculous times of day and weekends). We found the property that we really wanted and, although at the time it was already sold, Jade assured us that if anything changed she would 100% make it happen for us and we are now living in our dream home! Could not recommend Jade high enough. The personal touch you will almost definitely not find anywhere else

28th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)My advice is not to use Purplebricks , I found them mostly unhelpful and very disjointed in their approach. They over estimated my property value I suspect to get me on board. I paid for accompanied viewings which costs more and signed with them in August 2021, I took the decision to drop the price after five months of not receiving any resonable offers and then received an acceptable offer , however the do not have a good/pro active Post SaIes support team and do not monitor the sale progress, conseqently I lost the buyer and my faith in their ability to sell properties. I could go into volumes about their service and lack of it but will stop short and just say I would NEVER recommend anyone to use Purplebricks. Furthermore they lost one of my keys that I gave them. I withdrew my property from them in June 2022.

Very knowledgeable, approachable and professional, she achieved a quick sale for us in tough market conditions. The purchaser was looking to complete quickly and she ensured that everything proceeded smoothly without any delays. Would highly recommend.

Avoid if you value professionalism and fair treatment<br><br>My experience with this letting agent has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish.<br><br>Throughout my tenancy I was repeatedly addressed by the wrong name despite correcting them multiple times, which summed up the lack of care and attention I experienced.<br><br>The most stressful part came when I was moving out. I had always tried to be accommodating with property viewings, but after one viewing was cancelled, I began moving my belongings as planned. Days later the same viewing was reinstated with very little notice, by which point my personal possessions were throughout the house. I politely explained that I wasn't comfortable allowing strangers into my home in those circumstances and asked if the viewing could be rearranged until after I had moved out. I also offered evenings and weekends when I could be present.<br><br>Instead of working with me to find a reasonable solution, I received persistent pressure regarding access and was eventually sent a solicitor's letter threatening deductions from my deposit. The experience was completely disproportionate and caused an enormous amount of unnecessary stress during what is already a difficult time.<br><br>Despite leaving the property in an excellent condition, including paying for professional carpet cleaning and window cleaning, the landlord has since attempted to claim deductions from my deposit for cleaning and a substantial sum for alleged loss of income. The matter is now being disputed through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.<br><br>Throughout this process I have found the communication to be poor, the attitude unhelpful, and the overall handling of the tenancy lacking professionalism. I would not choose to rent through this agency again.
