31st Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)We used Linay and Shipp for selling our house and buying a new house, and were very impressed by their service right from the start to finish. Every staff is helpful and lovely, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They provided a professional photographer taking high quality photos for our property, and we had three viewing requests within two hours after the property listed. They were also very good with dealing with different types of buyers, and really stood up for us when there were unreasonable requests. They helped us manage the tedious conveyancing process: chasing solicitors and providing us with regular update in terms of what is going on. They made the whole house selling process much less stressful. In terms of finding our new home, they were very engaging in showing us the property, and were patient in answering all our questions. We requested two more viewings of the property after made an offer, and they were just as patient and helpful as we haven’t made an offer. In fact, we have learnt lots of great ideas on property improvements from them, and are implementing some of them right now. A big thank you to Breda, Jacqui, Lucy, Debbie and Helen for taking good care of us throughout the whole process, and we would recommend to them to anyone in a heartbeat!

21st Jul 2025 (7 mo. ago)We have just sold our property via Hunters, it was a slog of a sale as it fell through a couple of times. Hunters were amazing at every step, the chain collapsing twice was nothing to do with their service or vetting of the buyers. Each time they jumped straight on the marketing and communication and had viewings and offers within a few days. They always kept us in the loop and provided excellent service. As a seller I would highly recommend We also purchased the house we’ve just sold through them too (that’s why we chose them), so I can also recommend them from a buyers side too Our agent created a WhatsApp group between us so we could be kept in close contact re viewings and offers (so didn’t need to wait until we could take a call), this was super handy

Jane and Gary are absolute professionals and you get honest advice and consistent communication throughout the process. My property sold within days of being listed and I’ve been so impressed from start to finish. Highly recommend them!
11th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Due to our house being sold as part of a Trust, we were given Evolution as our nominated Estate Agents. If truth be known, as we hadn't heard of them before it probably wouldn't have been one we would naturally have utilised. However, we have been simply over the moon that you were the chosen Estate Agents, your service has been nothing short of exemplary. You have done absolutely everything you said you would do, at the times and dates provided. The Staff are so supportive, and will go out of their way to make sure the information or question is provided or answered. Nothing has ever been too much, whatever date, time or person we spoke to. We had total faith in your ability to deliver, and trusted you to do your job and you absolutely delivered on everything. All I'm left to add is a big thank you to all concerned.

14th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I wanted to personally thank Toby Caufield for his assistance in resolving a dispute with the seller of a property I recently purchased in Deal. The dispute was nothing to do with Colebrook Sturrock and thus he would have been well within his rights to ignore the issue at hand but he didn't and went the extra mile to assist. I will certainly purchase from them again in the future and highly recommend to others.

22nd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)Obviously, I’m yet to get my final settlement deposit refund, due to Pro-estates staff and the landlord still not deciding when to sort this out. Firstly, I got into this apartment late last year, prior to my viewing with my friend husband we found a TV and a Microwave inside, and when asked cos I had one at my previous house, we were told the previous tenant left it behind and that If eventually I moved in I could have it as wasn’t part of the property. So when I got the email notification that I was the lucky one to get the flat, I asked again and clearly told I can have it. I lived there for a year and now informed it was ending my tenancy agreement, so I moved out everything as my friend and her husband actually helped me as I was very ill this period. So then, after 2 weeks my deposit hasn’t been returned and now I’m struggling and the new Landlord who has taken over has informed the agent I needed to return the TV and microwave. I have informed, it wasn’t part of the property as told earlier during my viewing and when I moved in. I have contacted my friend husband who was present and I have also requested for a face to face appointment as it appears they trying to deny and make me look it was stolen. I have contacted Luke and explained but still when I call it’s either they not wanting to put him on the call or promised to call me back till now, as still not responded to my email. I want this to be escalated to any authority and I will bring in a witnessed, as this appears to be a false alarm on me and holding my deposit. NB: Also, prior to my move in the carpet was changed and not properly hovered, I have left the flat in good condition as I found it, the humidity meter I left back, was taken by my friend as she helped to do the final move as I was in the hospital as she thought it was a private letter. I have confirmed in writing that I can provide this, as I had to asked my friend who said she saw an envelope in my name. Lastly, the house was left in same condition and I want to escalate the aspect of the landlord and agents accusing me of taking the TV and microwave which they initially and clearly stated that it was left behind from the previous tenant and that I have it when moving out. Proestate is evil, with poor managerial skills, false and misleading information, delay in responses from complaints. I’m lucky I wasn’t alone on that said day, I have a witness and If you ever DEDUCT my DEPOSIT or don’t REFUND me FULLY, I promise you that the outcome of this issues will be TOUGH. Stop misleading clients with false information, stop claiming what wasn’t true from the onset. I NEED MY FULL REFUND AND MY FULL REFUND ONLY, book a face to face appointment and I will bring in my witness, stop making me look like a liar. The TV and microwave wasn’t part of the property as informed initially and you all gave me CONSENT from the onset to have it when moving out. Stop the deceit, stop the false accusations, stop now. You holding my deposit for way too long now.
