5th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)My agent was very supportive when I had to sell my late mother's property. A little on the expensive side, but he sold it to the first viewers within a week.
17th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)My tenancy with Brink Riley Properties Ltd ended with a creative attempt to charge me for damages I hadn’t caused. Fortunately, I documented the property in forensic detail, and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme agreed, their claim quietly dissolved. For anyone renting through them, I’d recommend three things: 1. Treat the property like an exhibit and yourself as the archivist. Photos are your best defence. 2. Keep every conversation in writing 3. Familiarise yourself with the deposit scheme While I won my appeal, the entire process was an unnecessary exercise in persistence. It is a shame as the staff in the office were nice until the false deposit claims made its entrance.

31st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)Great from the start with Simon coming out to do the valuation and putting the property on the market and actually making the sale. Good correspondence keeping me up to date with viewings etc from Richard and Natalie too.
5th Jul 2023 (2 years ago)I paid my last months rent despite the house being empty in good faith, to then have them try and wangle your deposit from you after you went above and beyond to leave the house in a better condition than you got it and worse part is only lived there 8 months, I had 80% house freshly painted, had brand new oven fitted, left fitted blinds and matching lightshades and they STILL try and rinse you! It's really bad I am absolutely gutted!
2nd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Worst worst worst Please avoid them they charge you 25£ for visit that is non refundable. And then waste your time we were waiting for 3 months. We gave notice to our landlord because they approved everything. Last minute they denied. Such a time wasters

29th Aug 2025 (6 mo. ago)For context my comments are as a buyer. After multiple previous bad experiences with other agents I didn't have very high hopes. However, Jack Brown couldn't have been anymore helpful. He answered my emails quickly, even when on holiday. He went out of his way to gain information that wasn't really his job to get. Met with me onsite multiple times and was generally very easy to deal with. I also met one of his other colleagues a while ago who was equally helpful and patient with my hundreds of questions. Sorry I don't remember your name. Credit to your business. ???? I'm sure Jack will be glad to see the back of me. Thanks again. To the "other agents" (You know who you are) you could learn a thing or two from TDB about customer service. I didn't name you as I'm a decent person. Answering the phone and your emails is what sells properties and gives people confidence in you. Honesty goes a long way.
12th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)I would not recommend this business, as after receive the first draft of the lease of the building the changed the deal on the lease. After that Sam harassed us to close the lease after we waiting for weeks for the lease to be done. After receive the money for the deposit and rent, we had to run after the keys and once received we had to ask for the key of the shutter. The service was bad let alone the emails from Sam Sutton himself rude to the core. This is my second business, I never experience such unprofessionalism as this business. Not even deserve of that one star. POOR!!
