From the very first viewing Maria was fantastic - incredibly responsive, always available when I needed something, and genuinely supportive throughout what can often be a stressful process. She must have shown me the property around five times and was always patient, helpful and professional. Maria really went above and beyond to help get the deal over the line and made the whole experience much smoother than it could have been. A great experience overall and I’m very grateful for all the work she put in. At every stage of the selling process we were kept informed and the next part of the process explained. At times Rachel went out of her way to help when needed without asking. Rachel made the whole process of selling our house as easy and stressless as it could be. I would highly recommend this Estate agent to anyone considering selling their home. 5 star plus, well done and thank you.

15th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Terrible experience buying through this estate agent. The property was not cleaned at all upon completion, communication throughout the process was consistently poor, and they failed to return important documents relating to the new energy supplier. Wikki, in particular, was extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend using this agency for a purchase of any kind.

Sal is a particularly helpful agent, who goes the extra mile to find the best possible properties for the tenants he advices, and the best possible tenants for the landlords he is working for.

16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Was looking for a one-bedroom apartment on rather short notice and Helaina kindly connected me with the right property the second it became available. Therfore was able to secure everything with as little as possible time constraint. Helaina made the process super smooth and completely tailored to my situation. Would go again via Tavistock anytime!

She was incredibly positive, efficient, and professional from start to finish. Carlie’s communication and people skills are excellent, and she handled some tricky moments — including delays and issues raised during the survey — with calmness and good humour. Whenever something needed sorting, she always helped to move things forward, particularly when the process became difficult or stressful. She was always cheerful, responsive and reassuring, and her professionalism, combined with a genuinely warm personality, made what can be a stressful process much easier. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Beresford Adams to anyone looking to sell their home.
27th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

He was efficient, communicated clearly, and kept me regularly updated throughout. I always knew what was happening and what the next steps were, which gave me real confidence in the process. He also took the time to explain everything along the way, which I really appreciated. A big thank you as well to Charity, who was very kind, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. Overall, a very positive experience and I’m really grateful for all the support from the team at Cow & Co.
