23rd Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)AVOID THEM. They will rob you blind of your deposit and withold legal documents they "swear they'll get tomorrow" to avoid giving you your dues. Like many others said they will make dizzying claims about needing professional cleaners. Especially when you hired your own out of pocket to avoid these things. They are rude, dismissive and will trick you into doing everything over the calls to avoid leaving evidence of responsibility before gaslighting you wildly. Mohammed told us to sit outside in the peak of winter overnight when the lock which the locksmith WE had to hire said was "a decade out of date". Took days of arguing to get them to pay us back. It was -5 and mohammed knew full well I was asthmatic. Disgusting business with no morals. Watch your backs, avoid this lot.

9th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)We have just sold our property and bought a new home both with Hunter’s at Kendal We have dealt mainly with Ellie who is so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble she is definitely a valuable asset to the company. Having spoken and dealt with other staff members at Kendal I can honestly say that they are a wonderful team. Everything has gone smoothly and we are moving next week, a huge thank you to Hunters.

28th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.

Dawn was brilliant at chasing our solicitors and was great at communicating with the vendors. A special mention to Louisa who was very helpful & efficient every time she answered the phone. A great estate agent makes all the difference & we couldn’t recommend Gascoigne Halman enough. Thank you!

19th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.

We had a negative time with the previous agents and things just changed massively when we moved to Property Shop. From valuation, to all the viewings and the amazing customer service provided by Beth. We were always kept updated and i genuinely felt Beth wanted the best for us, she was always available to answer questions and always kept us in the loop, she is a real trooper and so friendly & polite. The same goes for the other staff and also Natalie in completions, always friendly and efficient, nothing ever too much trouble. The staff are a credit to this place. We have been so happy from start to finish! Thank you x

In both cases, I received excellent service from the team at Constables. I found them to be professional, helpful, friendly and very effective at their job. I would use Constables again without hesitation.

Always going above and beyond, communicating to all parties at all times with constant updates. I particularly loved my sales brochure. 18th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Louis Was absolutely fantastic. He was courteous and knowledgable and never pushy. The viewings were conducted quickly and professionally, and while, through no fault of Jacob knight, the process was long and drawn out (mortgage issues), Louis was always available immediately when we needed him, either by phone or email. We had heard of agents for other companies being very good for the viewing process and then dropping off a cliff when it came to the nitty gritty of actually getting the process finalised. certainly not the case with Jacob knight, they were brilliant, can highly recommend.
