9th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)Great to start with but once we signed contracts all communications stopped. We never received any updates at all, we had to chase them every time. We eventually gave notice in writing to terminate the contract and nobody bothered to contact us to ask why we were leaving? Very poor customer service- 11th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)We bought a house through Thomas James. Ben was very helpful and kept the purchase on track through some tricky times. Completed yesterday! 6th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! If you are thinking of selling or looking to buy completely avoid these bunch of clowns.

We were buying a property that they had on the market and were unfortunately dealing with some less than supportive solicitors. Mel was amazing throughout and helped guide us through a very stressful process and helped us feel like our voices were heard. If it hadn't have been for the team at Hammond Properties, we likely would not have been able to move into our home before Christmas. A massive thank you to Mel and the team at Hammond Properties for their help in buying our first home.

14th May 2023 (2 years ago)Lesley Hreaves Estate agents in Gedling Village were excellent. Friendly, Efficientand always happy to discuss progress. There were always viewers to look at the house every week but to begin with these maybe not the right people as they hadn’t done their homework with regards to layout. We reduced the price which immediately found the exact buyer for the house, who really want it and appreciate what it offers. Great result in 6 weeks. Would recommend Lesley Greaves to sell your house. Thankyou LG.

9th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

Right from the off they were friendly accommodating and very supportive and clearly knew the market inside and out they always kept me Update with timescales. I received regular reports which kept me informed on how the sale was progressing.

Whilst we was dealing with the pain of bereavement and deciding to sell our parents house, dealing with Darren was friendly, very knowledgable and professional advising us through all the stages of selling the property and made the process as easy as possible. He was available and a constant throughout and went above and beyond to keep us updated right through to completion when we was not getting much updates from the Solicitor.
