19th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)The valuation was more accurate than others and had a good understanding and knowledge of local sales and area. Felt communication, advice and securing viewings could have been better once property had been on the market for six weeks. Time until agents were available for viewings once almost two weeks, so be sure to offer that you will do viewings if you are able to speed up getting people in Better communication and speed since the offer of sale.
4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)We found the whole team at Farrow & Farrow very polite and helpful. The whole selling process is very emotive and the advice given about marketing and presenting our property was incredibly beneficial. The house write up by Peter was exceptional and the photographs by Emma showed the property off perfectly. Along side a powerful marketing video using photos, video and drones. Viewings held by Emma were informative and her ability to remember all the details was outstanding. The house is a unique 250yr old converted farmhouse in the challenging top end of the market therefore took some time to sell but all the team remained encouraging and worked tirelessly to find a buyer. Peter even took time to show us all the aspects of how they promote and sell properties which was encouraging for us. Somehow as busy as they are we always felt apart of the process and we were delighted of course when a new buyer was found. We cannot thank the team enough for helping sell our property.
29th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)We chose Keenans Rawtenstall to sell our house primarily because of their competitive fees. Looking back, I wish I had done more research beforehand.<br><br>When signing the contract, I dod nit sign it, it was automatic and entered an incorrect name, I contacted and was told "don't worry, it's fine". I also asked for a copy of tbe contract that was readable but this was never provided. Therefore, I habe never seen their terms of service.<br><br>On the day our property went live, I visited the office for the first time to drop off a key and was quite surprised. There was very little to indicate that it was an estate agency. There were no property displays in the windows, just a very minimalist office with mirrors, lighting, ornaments and interior design books. It felt more like an interior design showroom than a business focused on selling houses.<br><br>The same impression carried over to their social media presence. There seemed to be more content featuring selfies of their young staff in mirrors than actual property marketing. As a seller, I expected a stronger focus on promoting homes.<br><br>When I dropped off the key, just three hours after the property went live, I was told they had already received six enquiries. Our property was also labelled as a "Hot Property" on both their website and Zoopla, with indications of high interest and hundreds of views. Given this, I found it difficult to understand why we received only three viewings in the first three weeks.<br><br>In fact, one of those viewings came about because a note was posted through our door by someone who had been trying unsuccessfully to contact Keenans to arrange a viewing. We organised that viewing ourselves. Perhaps that offers some insight into the issue.<br><br>During this time, we viewed numerous properties through other estate agents. Many were more expensive than ours and, in our opinion, not as appealing, yet they often had back-to-back or block viewings arranged. By contrast, whenever we tried to arrange viewings through Keenans for properties we were interested in, we frequently had to chase by phone and email before receiving a response.<br><br>After three weeks, we raised our concerns and asked for our property to be promoted on their social media channels. Following this, we received two additional viewings. However, after five weeks on the market and only five viewings in total, we felt we had made the wrong choice and decided to take our property off the market.<br><br>Two days after sending our notice by email, we had received no response, so I had to follow up myself. I also mentioned again that the terms and conditions supplied to us were extremely difficult to read because the text was so small and became blurred when zoomed in. Harry agreed that this was an issue and said he was unsure about the notice requirements as a result, promising to call me straight back. Unfortunately, he never did.<br><br>The following day I called again and was told that I would remain tied into the contract for the remainder of the 12-week term plus a further 28 days' notice. I said OK because I just wanted the property to be removed from the market. I was then told that this could not be done and that the property had to remain online.<br><br>When I explained that I no longer wished to sell the property and wanted it removed, I was told it could instead be suspended and reactivated later to complete the remainder of the contract period. I explained that if we decided to sell again in the future, we would not be using Keenans.<br><br>After speaking with his manager, Harry returned and confirmed that I was in fact correct: the property could indeed be removed from the market immediately. The only restriction was that I could not instruct another estate agent until the contractual period had expired.<br><br>Unfortunately, after this experience, we have no intention of selling for a while. Will never use Keenans again.<br><br>Update: I finally got a confirmation email that I have taken my property off the market on 29th July!! Only took 2 months!<br><br>The response from Keenans is absolute rubbish!

- 8th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I’ve recently completing a property purchase through Keenans Accrington, and I can honestly say Isaac made the whole experience so much easier than I expected.<br>From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and always willing to go out of his way to make me feel comfortable and reassured. Buying a property can be stressful, but Isaac was always on hand to answer questions, keep me updated, and make sure I understood what was happening at each stage.<br><br>One thing that really stood out was how helpful he was throughout the entire process. He even introduced me to a fantastic mortgage advisor, which made a huge difference and helped everything come together smoothly.<br><br>His communication was excellent, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.<br><br>Thanks to Isaac's support and dedication, what could have been a stressful experience felt straightforward and manageable.<br>A massive thank you to Isaac and the team at Keenans Accrington.<br><br>I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property. Outstanding service from start to finish!

25th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)We had an awful horrendous 13 months dealing with the owner of Ewemove Rossendale selling our home. As far as they’re concerned, after they get you a buyer that’s it for them. It’s job done. They find it an utter inconvenience if you contact them again for updates on your sale, god help you should you need any help progressing your sale after an offers been accepted as they’re simply not interested. Awful estate agent who only cares about conducting viewings. After that you’re left to fend for yourself. The owner will say all the right things to you on the phone then in reality after speaking with you will do the bare minimum to help and proved it to us. The owner lacks experience and is clueless and shouldn’t be allowed to run an estate agent. The amount of stress and extra expensive the owner caused us is inexcusable. Completely untrustworthy, incompetent, inept, unprofessional, the list goes on. Never again.
9th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)We had the best experience with Wainwright's from start to finish. I would highly recommend this estate agents. Although when I looked at cost, it was slightly more, the service we received far outweighed the money we paid. We changed to Wainwright's after using another estate agents and I don't regret it. Within a few weeks they had sold our house and the service was impeccable. Every member of staff was dedicated to selling our house. Don't hesitate to use Wainwright's estate agents. Thank you everyone at Wainwright's ??????

10th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We had a great experience with the Charles Louis team. From start to finish we had a good feeling for the company and we weren’t disappointed. Our sale didn’t go without its problems but Jamie, Zoe and Helen were always supportive and all correspondence was replied to immediately or at least asap.<br>The team are very grounded and professional and you have confidence that they’re doing all the necessary administrative and diplomatic work on your behalf in the background to get the sale through the line.<br>The very personable approach the whole team have is very comforting and it made you feel that they genuinely cared. We spoke and messaged Helen a lot !!!! She remained very patient and professional and knew she wanted the best outcome for us.<br>We would highly recommend them all in a heartbeat.
6th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Habitats - now called Agreed. Really impressed with the concept and overall with the site and process. Very quick to get my property online, booked a floorplan and it was carried out very promptly, house was uploaded to Rightmove and Zoopla in now time and it sold in days (although that's down to market conditions too). Overall really happy although the actual site can be a tad glitchy and perhaps from a buyers point of view a bit more guidance is needed...my FTB struggled a bit. Help function generally very responsive though. Sale hasn't yet completed as we are only a week in but if all continues as it started they will deserve 5 stars and I've saved over £1k in agent fees.

They made us feel totally at ease, we genuinely felt cared for and supported throughout the whole journey.<br>One thing that really stood out was that we never felt pressured whatsoever. At every stage, we were given honest advice, plenty of time to make decisions, and always felt that our best interests came first. That made such a difference and gave us complete confidence throughout the whole process.<br>Selling a home can be very emotional and stressful but nothing was ever too much trouble. Everyone was always professional, reassuring, incredibly kind and friendly, keeping us informed every step of the way.<br>The photographs and brochure were absolutely beautiful and captured our home perfectly. Their local knowledge and attention to detail were second to none.<br>Every single person in the office was so friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely to deal with.
