13th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)My partner and I recently sold our first family home with Cowell Norford Rochdale. It was a very bitter sweet feeling as we loved our home, but the staff down at Cowells made us feel so much better about the whole process. We had a difficult buyer to say the least, however without the help of Maisie, our sales negotiator and Sophie, our sales progressor the process would have been a whole lot worse. No question asked was too stupid, and they always went above what was asked of them. I received daily updates from them, even if there was no real update, they were constantly reassuring me that they were chasing the relevant people to get it over the line as quickly as possible. Selling and buying a house is a real rollercoaster of emotions, and without Maise and Sophie I'm not sure I would have survived it! Thank you so much Maise and Sophie, you were amazing and are a real credit to the business. I wish you all the best in everything you do!

Emmy, Michaela, Naomi, and Amber were absolutely fantastic, answering all our questions and supporting us throughout the long and stressful process. Emmy was allocated case worker and she has the patience of a Saint liaising with the solicitors and making sure were were kept in the loop at all times. Really friendly, knowledgeable staff, especially Nicole, who kept in touch very regularly. Hope they continue with their excellent service through to completion.

7th Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)Things started off great with Reside coming to value our property and to take pictures for the website. The agent was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and area having marketed the property previously. However, things went downhill after our first block of viewings. The lady that was supposed to be conducting the viewings was late. As it had been organised as an open house sort of viewing we had people turning up while we were stood waiting to set off to a viewing we had booked for ourselves. When she did finally turn up she knew absolutely nothing about the property or area and had clearly done no prep for the viewing. We then had the problem of lack of communication which was ongoing up until completion of the sale. Reside failed to tell us for 4 days that our buyers had actually withdrawn their offer, it was only because we got in touch with them that they decided to tell us. Luckily we managed to resolve this with our buyers and the sale went ahead, but had we not have got in touch who knows what would have happened. Buying and selling a house can be stressfull enough as it is, and unfortunately Reside did not help with this.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Even though I did not meet the team at Susan Eve in person, or even visit the property during the sales process, they did a wonderful job and I knew that I was in good hands. They helped prepare the property for sale including cleaning, painting and decorating. They showed the property, found the buyer and worked with my solicitor to complete transaction. Great job, thank you!

The property was listed on a Tuesday and after a number of viewings by the following Monday we had offers one of which exceeded the listing price and our expectations. From then on until completion John kept me well informed. Would we use them again YES, would we recommend them YES. Thanks guys.

Harrison was very professional and provided honest information. Harrison followed up as agreed and proposed a new house for us to visit. I would recommend Harrison for his customer service.
