7th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)WARNING!! Richard murray acted as co executor having written my mothers will. He was not appointed by her but by her named executor. He sided and was partial to one group of beneficiaries over another. He chose the ones nearest the property of most help to him to side with, making his job easier. The family was fractured but he showed no ability to deal with this shutting down and refusing to engage with one side. Preferentially treating the other side. He went back on his legal advice reversing decisions that suited him. Including and implementing wishes he decided my mother made Verbally only to the one side of the family, the side he demonstrated favour with. When ‘wishes’ my mother had made to the other side were brought to him he dismissed them. Biased and unfair and cruel in his handling of the estate. Delaying the inheritance by permitting one beneficiary to live rent free in the property for some fourteen months post my mothers death. Not mentioned in the will, nor discussed. Between himself, his Company or my mother - but on the say so of the side he favoured! The implemented ‘say sos’ were decided without full disclosure or discussion or transparency and he was unaccountable in that He acted like a dictator refusing telephone calls , zoom meetings or email discussions. He dragged out a simple direct will into two years of hell, stress and unnecessary expense because he favoured and decided always in favour of one half of the beneficiaries over the other. Do not write a will with this Company. They have demonstrated they are incapable of writing one correctly , giving proper advice to my Mother , and incapable of implementing it as it’s written in any event. AVOID! It’s 2026 and there are still repercussions from Richard Murray @Connell&Connell’s mis writing and massive failures in executing our Mothers will. Save yourselves a whole lot of unprofessional and uncaring and biased,will handling and don’t use this man.
15th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)This Company is simply The Best ????????????<br>They are so professional and caring.<br>Easy to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for them.<br>Every experience is positive and dealing with Erin in the office is a joy, she is so helpful and explains everything so simply and basically handles everything, leaving you assured that your property is not just in the best but right hands.<br>Could not recommend them highly enough.

22nd Sep 2024 (1 year ago)We chose Gillespie Macandrew because we wanted the whole selling process (including the calculation of capital gains tax) to be under one roof. Gillespie Macandrew more than lived up to our expectations. The marketing, conveyancing and capital gains processes were all sequentially and logically implemented and there was always someone on hand to answer our questions. The stress involved in selling a property was greatly reduced, the sale went smoothly and efficiently, and we received a price well above the valuation.

2nd May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Through the recommendation of a friend we contacted David Muir Estates to organise the sale of our house in Balloch. From the start the process was really professional and very soon we had exceptional video and photo presentations that demonstrated our property to our great satisfaction. The subsequent quick sale and the ease of contact for updates in the ensuing formalities was excellent. No hesitation in highly recommending their services.

23rd Dec 2024 (1 year ago)I have been a tenant with Northwood for over 20 years,and I cannot thank them enough,anytime I had a problem or repair it was always dealt with quickly and efficiently,they have always been at the other end of the phone if needed,if anyone out there is looking for a flat ,I would guarantee no where better than Northwood Glasgow,many many thanks Isabelle,Keith,Pam,Craig,Kyle,Thomas and all the rest of the staff,thanks again Craig for helping Mark this morning???????????? 8th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I have given two stars because they at least called me back. Not a great call though. I was told they had too many properties and "it doesn't even have a sea view" I replied "I'm sitting looking at the water right now" (partial sea view at property) Just felt like I was the one trying to sell the house to them. Which I thought was their job. Maybe they just didn't like the property... But.... I sold the property with Fiuran Property in one week. Argyll Estate Agent, if you want to get in touch I am happy to give details and hopefully your calls are recorded.
29th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have been using Northwood's landlord services for 13 years and have always found them very responsive and diligent in managing the properties. As I don't live in the area, I rely heavily on their ability to resolve any issues that arise, and I've been very pleased with how they have done so.
