The whole process has moved incredibly quickly—far quicker than I ever anticipated—and I genuinely believe this is largely down to the hard work and dedication of the team in attracting prospective buyers and arranging viewings.<br><br>Throughout the process, everyone has been friendly, professional, helpful and polite, making what can be a stressful experience feel so much easier. 31st Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I’ve been letting my flat in Upper Sydenham through Pedder for many years. I don’t live locally so it is crucial for me to co-operate with a managing agent I can trust. My experience of Pedder has always been positive. This positive experience has recently been reinforced when I found myself facing a costly quote for works relating to refurbishing gas installation. Derek, who is looking after my property on behalf of Pedder, was most helpful and managed to find another engineer who at a fraction of the original quote price brought the installation to a satisfactory working order. Overall, I highly recommend Pedder and Derek in particular!

3rd Aug 2026 (21 days ago)After a disappointing experience with two other well known local agents (6-8 weeks each, only 4-5 viewings between them, and listings that weren't optimised to reach the right buyers), we switched to Bairstow Eve's Kenley branch; and the difference was night and day.<br>Maxine and her team brought genuine local market knowledge and a clear sense of what actually sells in the area, rather than just charts and notifications. Maxine led the sales process brilliantly, while Dianne on completions was warm, patient, and reassuring throughout; the two of them complement each other perfectly.<br>Our first open house alone brought around 7 viewings and two offers. When that sale unfortunately fell through (through no fault of theirs), they got us straight back on the market, and a second open house delivered another strong turnout despite a shifting, uncertain market. We ended up with 3 offers and a successful completion, with every hiccup along the way handled smoothly.<br>Could not recommend them highly enough, genuinely the best estate agents we've dealt with. A massive thank you to Maxine, Dianne, and the whole team for seeing us through it. It was a pleasure knowing you, and we wish you all continued success.

We really felt like they were on our side and doing their best for us. Communication was excellent be it through email or phone call. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

31st May 2024 (2 years ago)I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress. Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

From viewing the flat to moving out, they were always attentive and responsive, and made you feel like you weren’t just another tenant.<br><br>Particular shout out to Lina, Derek and Matthew who made the moving out process so smooth when I had to (v sadly) move out of my flat. They clearly explained everything I needed to do and made what could have been a stressful process feel completely hassle-free.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Porters to anyone looking for a professional and genuinely helpful estate agent!
