Exceptional customer service was maintained throughout the whole process, from the initial enquiry through to purchase and completion. Any queries that we had were dealt with in a friendly, flexible but professional manner, including responding to calls, emails and texts outside conventional office hours, arranging short notice viewings etc..<br>We would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend Heather and her team at Parrys to anyone considering buying or selling property in the area.

We were always kept informed of appointments, active in sending the feedback and offers through , and there was always good communication between all members of the staff and ourselves. The staff went above and beyond to make the selling process as smooth as possible for us as the clients. I highly recommend them.

A special mention to Ben, who was professional throughout and demonstrated a great level of market knowledge, backed up with clear evidence and advice.<br>The marketing strategy was spot on and clearly helped achieve a smooth and speedy process. Communication was excellent, and everything was handled efficiently from start to finish.<br>Thank you to Ben and the team at Archer & Co for making the whole experience straightforward and stress-free. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

8th Jun 2026 (27 days ago)We decided to move down to Porthcawl around the beginning of March this year to help plant a new church in the area. So it was a busy time looking for somewhere to live. One of the Estate Agents we contacted was Peter Alan in Porthcawl. The overall service was first class, the staff were polite and friendly. We were greatly impressed with the young lady appointed to help us in our search. Tyler Matthews such a pleasant young lady with a warm smile which puts you at ease. Her calm attitude gave us confidence to trust she could and would help us. At every step of the way she kept us informed of the progress, which at times can be troublesome, but Tyler stuck with it. As I said earlier. we were impressed with the overall service we recieved from Peter Alan Estate Agents in Porthcawl and Bridgend.

A deduction was proposed from my deposit for a cracked window, but before obtaining multiple quotations or even arranging for a contractor to inspect the damage in person, a price was provided over the phone. The amount quoted appeared excessive and unreasonable. Throughout the process, I made it clear that I was not refusing to contribute towards a fair and justified cost. My concern was that no effort seemed to have been made to obtain a competitive or evidence-based quotation. I repeatedly asked for a more reasonable price or an independent assessment, but this was not properly addressed. I believe tenants should be treated fairly and any deductions from deposits should be supported by transparent and reasonable evidence. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
28th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking from start to finish. They call themselves an estate agency but honestly couldn’t run a kids party. Communication was poor, organisation was chaotic and I constantly had to chase for updates and answers. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating and completely lacking in professionalism. Simple issues took far too long to resolve and there seemed to be very little accountability throughout. I would strongly advise people to avoid using this agency based on my experience. Terrible!

They treat both landlords and tenants with genuine care, and that makes all the difference. Communication is always clear and timely, and I’ve always felt confident that my properties and tenants were being looked after properly. It’s rare to find an agency that balances professionalism with such a human touch.<br><br>Highly recommended.

Dave provides regular communications and I never had to chase for any updates, he also goes above and beyond for his clients. The service is professional, fair and personal. I'd recommend anyone considering selling their property to use RDE.- 24th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)Avoid renting with this company! If I could put 0 stars I would as I have never experienced such awful customer service and unprofessionalism - Writing on behalf of my family member. From the start of our renting journey with Chris John to the end when they had been taken over by MGY it was just an absolute nightmare. Rude staff, no urgency whatsoever to complete repairs even when urgent and just generally unprofessional. You can be waiting days if not weeks for a response or update. Even once we vacated the property the company continued to be rude and unhelpful. AVOID AVOID AVOID
1st Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)So far the team at Hern and Crabtree have been excellent. Always ready to answer my questions and reassure me. The house sold quickly with three interested buyers which meant it sold for more than expected. Hopefully all will proceed smoothly but even if it doesn’t I trust the Hern and Crabtree team will be there to support the sale to completion.
