22nd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)We completed on a (complicated!) property mid-December, via Jay and Shari at Jackson Stops. Jay was the agent and Shari the senior property consultant. It is an old, beautiful and complicated property and Shari was amazing to cut through some of the issues to get there - knows her stuff. Would highly recommend

10th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

29th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)I have been very impressed with Ian Anthony’s ability to find viable buyers for the property. They have given constructive but honest feedback from viewings. I was very happy with the type of room to room tour that showcased my house on Rightmove. It wasn’t a fast-paced video that meant you could not view the property at leisure-it was a tour that meant the person viewing on Rightmove could get a clear sense of the property-before coming to view it.

Very friendly and would recommend Bridgfords- 4th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)We put our house up for sale 3 years ago with an estate agent, frustratingly after over a year we had very few viewings and zero offers. we took our house down and re listed with Bridgefords in Penketh. The difference was absolutely astounding, Bridgefords took ownership and responsibility for all the viewings, they worked with us, to give us the best possible chance at sale with over 25 viewings in the space of 3 weeks we were astounded. The house was sold and finally completed last week, the support and help from the team at Bridgefords Penketh was amazing and i would recommend them to anyone needing to sell there property. A Fabulous team of individuals, thank you all.

It was a pleasure doing business with them.

7th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)We had a great experience with Barrow & Coon Solicitors recently when buying our first house. We had Marie as our Solicitor & Sue as her Secretary, both absolutely amazing. They were always on hand to deal with any big or small query that I had & kept me in the loop with every little detail. I would 100% recommend them to anyone & I will absolutely be using them again in the future if we buy another property. Thank you both so much for making such a stressful experience so enjoyable.

The process was smooth from the initial viewing, through signing the paperwork, right up to handing the property back at the end of the tenancy. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. They are hands on with getting a buyer but also hands on with conveyancing ensuring no delays between the two solicitors which takes the stress away from the sake as the communication and updates are timely.
