24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.
1st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Purchasing our property through Ledbury’s Stooke Hill & Walshe was fantastic. All the members of staff went above and beyond to make the whole process stress free. I couldn’t recommend them high enough.

15th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Less than a week after photos etc taken, the house went 'live' on the internet. The next day, I received a phone call from CobbAmos wanting to book a viewing the following day. The house was sold, etc, within a week.

16th Jul 2021 (5 years ago)Really down to earth Agents, not pushy at all. I think they have a good team at Bloxwich. Will sometimes even contact you out of their operating hours. Give honest pricing to sell your home too.
2nd Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)Not very good communication. Contacted about a viewing on a property & was told they were on holiday for the week & viewings would be arranged when back. Chased today (Tuesday) about viewings & miraculously it has been let. Just communicate correctly, its not much to ask. If the viewings were full or something, just say so.
10th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)About time I left a review after being with Northwood for 3 years!...and I'm leaving this review as a Landlord that has rental properties with them.<br><br>I've previously been with 3 of the 'big boys'...Shipways, Dixons and John Shepherd. The difference between them and Northwood is ridiculous. Yes, you will probably pay a lower Management fee with the big boys, but with them you DO NOT get the attention to detail, the personal attention, the speed of response, the reasonable contractor fees, the one point of contact etc etc. The list is endless. I used to tear my hair out with Dixons!<br><br>Not only that but with Northwood you don't get all the add on fees that Dixon's etc charge. It's most definitely worth paying them a slightly higher %.<br><br>In addition, I hardly get any contentious situations or complaints from tenants, so that means they're happy as well.<br><br>I would URGE anyone who's with the massive decentralised, non-personal Letting Agencies to try a smaller one...like Northwood.

Thieving clowns, very very very deceitful - 1 lie after the other. Should be investigated not fit to be a housing agent. Can never get through to them to fix issues with the property only concerned about taking money monthly. Stay away !!!!!!. I would give them a minus 100000 rating if I could

I needed a rental property and she considered my needs and urgency and within 3 days , I got the house. Brilliant team ???????? Sam was excellent at the paper work and made everything very simple and smooth. I am going to need them for my future property search definitely ???? Very reliable team and professionals of their words. I am very impressed with the service they provided for me and my family.
30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)In a word ((Scammers)) Why? They will over price your property rent. However, most do that then naturally one would have to haggle them down. Not sure if there is a landlord as it might be themselves pretending there is one! And if there is a landlord the landlord has no idea what these guys do!!!!! You have your contract fees which you pay every month. But then they try and scam all there clients with made up fees! Theses are normally around £40 they say it's for water and heating. However that is covered in your contract fees!!!!!! They pocket these fee if you don't pay it and tell them you will only pay what's on the contract then they can't do anything. If your building has parking and they also want that payment separate from your contact that is also a scam!!!!!!! Don't fall victim to these guys. If you have paid them these fees for years then get that money back. Take them to court if you must. However, don't let them get away with this bad practices!!!!!!

A great experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Adam and the team. ?????
12th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Absolutely — I’d keep it factual and firm, while making the criticism about the service rather than the individual personally.<br><br>I contacted this agent regarding a property they had advertised for lease, as I was interested in whether the owner might also consider selling.<br><br>I emailed to ask the question and was contacted by Mark, who told me that the owner was willing to sell and asked what price I would suggest. I found this slightly unusual, as I would generally expect the seller to indicate the price they are looking for, allowing a potential buyer to assess whether they are in the right ballpark.<br><br>Nevertheless, I considered the property from an investment perspective, based on the rental income being achieved, and put forward a figure accordingly.<br><br>I then heard absolutely nothing back. No email, no phone call, and not even a simple courtesy response to say that the offer was too low.<br><br>I eventually called the office, and Mark answered. The manner in which the call was handled was, frankly, disappointing. There was little enthusiasm or professionalism in the conversation, and I had to explain who I was and why I was calling before the property was identified.<br><br>When I explained that I had emailed regarding the property, I was simply told that his client was not interested. I asked why, and was told that my figure was nowhere near what the client wanted. My obvious question was: if that is the case, why not simply tell me what the client is looking for rather than asking me to guess?<br><br>I was eventually given the price the owner wanted. Based on the rental income and the returns an investor could reasonably expect from the property, that figure simply did not make sense to me as an investment.<br><br>What I found most disappointing was the lack of communication, professionalism and basic courtesy throughout the process. If an offer is too low, that’s absolutely fine — just say so. If the seller has a particular price in mind, tell the prospective buyer. That’s how a straightforward negotiation should work.<br><br>Instead, I was left chasing for a response and then made to feel as though contacting the agent in the first place was somehow an inconvenience, despite the fact that I had simply responded to a property they were advertising and asked a reasonable question.<br><br>Overall, I was left genuinely baffled by the level of service and what I felt was a lack of professionalism and communication. Perhaps my experience was an isolated one, but based on this interaction, I would be very reluctant to deal with this company again.
