23rd Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I agreed a purchase on 5 Whitburn Avenue which was marketed and confirmed in the memorandum of sale as freehold. After instructing solicitors and incurring costs and a level 2 survey, it later emerged during conveyancing that the property was subject to a short lease of around 12 years, fundamentally affecting value and mortgageability. I withdrew immediately once this came to light. Despite requesting written confirmation that the sale was no longer proceeding, my emails were not responded to. This experience caused unnecessary stress and wasted legal costs. Buyers should independently verify tenure before proceeding.

Both Lauren and Harriet were professional, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. They just got on with the job and delivered great results. I’d highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Their recommended solicitors Juno were very good with automated workflow to keep things moving. Their guidance on pricing was accurate and realistic. Highly recommend using them.

3rd Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)We decided to sell when there was a lull in the property market. Avon carried out as much advertising of the property as they could. They kept in contact throughout this time. Sale not quite completed yet but on the whole everything has been good.

Me and my wife have been viewing multiple properties over the last few weeks with some terrible estate agents with various companies, it was a complete breath of fresh air meeting with Sebastian Poole from the Solihull branch. He was confident, polite and knowledgeable with all details of the property and area. Every question we asked was answered fully I've been growing tired of estate agents showing us around properties without basic knowledge of the property and area. From the outset Adrian was polite helpful and most importantly knowledgeable about the market place, the site my van was on and how best to sell. Would highly reccomend this company, they sold my van for over 18K more than the site offered me, couldnt have been more please with the company, and service we recieved from Adrian - would highly reccomend

2nd Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)I haven’t moved for 42 years. It was a terrifying thought and I had to find somewhere else to live, also terrifying. Heather was very kind and patient with me, answered all my questions (there were lots) and helped me with both selling my house and purchasing my next home. I’ve been kept up to date with every process and phone calls. She has made it so much easier than I was expecting. Very on the ball. Thank you Heather and your team.
11th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Cannot recommend this estate agents enough, friendly, helpful and never pushy. Found our dream house last April with them but sadly it sold before we could sell ours. I was overjoyed when I had a call from Mark Wiggins a few months later to say it had fallen through and was going back in the market. The service from them from start to finish was excellent. Special mention to Corrabeth - superstar. Thanks for everything, we love our new home - even in all this rain and mud!
