Would not be in my new hoke without these guys!! We had a fair few blips but I think any issues with what information was being shared rather than the Acorn team themselves.. they helped hurry things up when there seemed like no good reason for delays and were so friendly, flexible and helpful regards viewings and with contractors doing quotes etc..added bonus that our property was so close to the office.. festina and Taylor- thank you! I know my girl would definitely rate you Festina too as she felt comfortable enough that she would have done the 'measuring' visit on her own with you.. thank you sooo very much!
As an aside, the linked survey people were great but I'd not use the associated legal people ever again for anything..expensive and not particularly helpful; I think even they were surprised it was taking so long

Festina and Taylor at Acorn Grove Park are absolute stars. After being on the market for 4 months with a well-known "premium" brand Estate Agent, a friend who sold their flat in the same block through Acorn advised me of how good they were - I came off and went on with Acorn GP - best thing I ever did. They sold my property in a few weeks, the standard of viewers (in terms of people ready to go, people looking specifically in the area, and the type of people who would want a property like mine) were nailed on. I really advise using them if you are selling in Grove Park. Festina (and Taylor) have been exceptional at chasing throughout the whole process, have remained in touch with both solicitors throughout the process and made what could have been an exceptionally stressful move much more pleasant - Festina is always positive, proactive and noticeably always super cheerful, which I think deserves a massive shout out, especially in comparison to other agents I had dealt with before Acorn came on board. I don't doubt everything above contributed to how quickly they sold my flat for a price I was really happy about. 10/10.

Story time! We paid a reservation fee of £2,000 for a new build property at a really good price, a bit under the property price. After a few weeks, we had our buyer pull out but managed to find another buyer for our property within a week. Apparently, this was not what the developer had wanted and the estate agent sneakily relisted our property again. This company is full of lies and deception. Please save yourself from it! Finding someone in a week was apparently not enough and we were too slow. Turns out.. Another buyer managed to get the property that we wanted at a higher price - £25k more and we only found out after a week of no replies from this estate agency - we were not quick enough apparently. They offered us another property which was not what we wanted. Bearing in mind, we had reserved this property!!! We decided to fight for our reservation fee back as at no point in time did we ever pull out or wanted to back out. We emailed Acorn and they said they would ask the developer for us. A week of emailing from our solicitor to the developer, it turns out the developer never had our £2k deposit and it was in fact always with the estate agent. GET THIS! Acorn was in fact CC’ed in all those emails. Silence from Acorn but they guiltily gave back our reservation fee back. How embarrassing! There were so many red flags, and we literally went through so much to try and exchange. We kept them in the loop but they were very slow in their replies and it seemed like they were sabotaging us. They wanted a fatter share of the sale! They kept on lying to us and the dates that they gave were all untruthful, they kept stating that we were too slow and that the house was already done but this was a lie. We visited the development many times to see and it did not add up. I hope no one ever goes through the experience I went through! AVOID!!! P.s we’ve driven past the development and in hindsight we are so glad that we did not buy the house. The developer messed up on many things.

Both Taylor and Festina have been superb when dealing with for selling my house in Grove Park. Taylor managed to secure me an offer at asking price within 48 hours of it going on the market (he also had 7 more viewing lined up for the following day too) .
Both have offered continuous clear communication ever step of the way.

Really great experience with Acorn. From the first viewing with Festina, everything went really smoothly with our purchase. We asked for a second viewing so we could take some measurements and make sure the house was going to suit our needs. I expected to be rushed (since it was a Saturday and obviously would be a busy time), but Festina made it feel like no trouble at all and we were able to do what was needed, she just sat and waited. WASTE OF TIME!
Me and my partner took the day off spent 40£, travelled for 2 hours to view this apartment .
We called ahead to confirm , our agent was unavailable, they said they would send someone else but no one turned up and when we called , they informed that viewing was only for 15 mins and your time is unfortunately over.
Utter rubbish, truly unprofessional, don't care about anyone else's time. What kind of agency is that?
Straight up lying to our faces.
We are glad we understood their reality very soon.

Hi all, if you are interested in buying a house, please don't waste your precious time with these people.
They are very unprofessional.
They would give you a date and time, will not confirm it over the email or call.
You would end up calling them and then the person who was your agent would not be available.
They will say they would send someone , but they will not. And then tell you your viewing time was 15 mins ago. Unfortunately no one is available.
We took the day off from our work. Spend 40 pounds to travel , they have absolutely no regards.
Probably all the reviews are bought. I am glad i understood their reality beforehand.

We cannot recommend Acorn at Grove Park highly enough, they have been very professional, kind and supportive throughout our recent journey selling our property with them. We have not moved home for many years and they have guided us through each step of the process, which we have found difficult to navigate at times. We have recently sold our property with ACORN. It has been a very complicated sale, as we were buying a new build property at the same time and had to adhere to the deadlines given by the developer.
ACORN guided us through this journey with excellence. Not only found us the right buyer who has offered us about 10% more than other 'local agents' predicted would be maximum for our property (if we are lucky), but also was extremely helpful with negotiations with the developer, assuring them about the progress of our deal on regular basis.

I needed a very quick sale as I now live overseas (so had to make a visit to the UK this summer, to take possession and get it on the market/sold asap). COVID precautions fully observed, Branch Manager Daniel Milligan was the first to greet me on my impromptu visit to the Grove Park Office. He visited and valued my property the next day, it was professionally photographed, and on the market within three business days. I accepted an offer within a week. We dealt with Acorn as purchasers - so weren't their client - but had an excellent experience throughout anyway.
Joe showed us the house and was professional and helpful, but Oliver took over for the transaction and we cannot speak more highly of him.
He was attentive throughout, and patiently addressed all our questions. Where there were gaps in his knowledge he was honest about it but would commit to finding out and got back to us on time every time.
There were some issues with the seller's purchase which resulted in almost six months between offer and completion, but despite that, Oliver made the process for us as smooth and as painless as could be hoped for.
Now that we have our house we aren't planning to move again any time soon but if we were, we would definitely use Oliver.

Nathaniel was very helpful especially in areas of referencing. He was constantly calling to tell me what next to be done etc. The referencing agent that acorn used were too demanding, but Nathaniel was there to explain things to me for better clarity. Also, I told him the kinds of furnitures I wanted in the house, even the landlord didn’t supply all I asked for, Nathaniel made sure I got 80% of what I asked. Both mine and my partners experience with acorn was second to none. We went in not really expecting much, as you do for many ‘flat hunts’, you find a load in theory that fit criteria but eventually don’t match up, aren’t quite up to the expectation you set in your head or go off the market too quickly and my experience of flat hunting has always been a heap of sold dreams and ‘too good to be true’s. My partner was contacted by Senior lettings agent Nathaniell and at first, we weren’t entirely interested as a lot of disappointment preceded that. However, we eventually decided to contact Nathaniell to set up a viewing for a property we had seen. Not only was Nathaniell very friendly, timely and professional, he also took the time to understand our needs to match us to similar properties without even asking. He even recommended one that we hadn’t seen which later turned out to be our dream home! He was very patient with us, needless to say we took a very long time inspecting every crevice of the properties he showed us trying to decide if we could see ourselves there. He was very knowledgeable about the properties we went to and he made sure all the questions we asked were answered. The communication throughout the whole process was amazing, and he even helped us set up communication with the old tenant regarding buying some of her furniture. I can definitely say Nathaniell went above and beyond to ensure we had an extremely positive experience and not only would I recommend Acorn Grove Park but Nathaniell as an agent. Ollie- the branch manager- is brilliant. Very friendly, easy to get hold of and responds to queries very quickly with regular updates throughout the buying and selling process. Nathaniell goes above and beyond to satisfy the client, he went out of his way to ensure we got a tenant as soon as possible. He stepped in to sort the situation after a rival estate agent was slow and cumbersome and found a tenant within 2 weeks.

Overall I had a good experience with Acorn although not everyone was as helpful/good.
Nathaniell Ward who helped me find a new property to rent was incredibly helpful and very quick to answer and sort any issues. The manager Matt Lanninge was equally very efficient and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately the experience with the admin team was definitely not as good, everything was cumbersome and at times not so pleasant. I had to go each time back to Nathaniell to smooth things over, which he always did. Hence the 4 stars only.

Stephanie Carson is an excellent estate agent. From the minute I first met her, 8 long months ago, she was on my wavelength, quickly understanding what I was looking to buy and not wasting my time on viewings of unsuitable properties. She found me a great flat and did everything she could to help the purchase, until I had to withdraw. Despite that, she then set to and found me another flat very quickly, which was in a better area and even nicer. She was like a terrier in trying to speed through all the details and answer the queries I had, was constantly in touch with me, the seller and the seller's solicitors to try and resolve problems, and she was always cheerful and straight talking. I was very impressed by her and would definitely want her handling any purchase / sale I might make in future!

Highly recommended! Matt (the manager) was a huge help with lots of advice/recommendations from start to finish for the sale of our property. It was far from easy as we’re deaf (so all communication had to be done by e-mail), the flat only had 44 years left on the lease & had defects, plus Japanese knotweed was found by the surveyor on our development so we really needed his experience to help make it all happen & keep the buyer happy. The buyer got an extended lease on completion and we got the price we needed – couldn’t thank him enough for all his care and support which he has gone beyond his normal duties. Absolutely brilliant!!

Since being with Acorn for the last 3 years, i have had nothing but trouble. From losing the keys on the way in, breaking the gas tap, to calling up every month for the rent, to paying for a check every 6 months but not getting one for almost 2 years, and then losing the keys AGAIN on the way out, i would never recommend this company to anyone. If you are a landlord, run. The other direction!
