Sent a request for property viewing. Call back received today and said he could accommodate only on One day of the week or it would be 2 weeks later if we wanted on a saturday. The agent seemed cold as in was telling “do u want to view the property or not” i said i will call back later in 10 minutes to confirm the dates since my timings were not accepted. When i called back, he didn’t pick up. So much for customer service. Unpleasant experience

A UK national leading estate agent, should be a no brainer? Surely that brand would deliver a decent service? Don't take anything for granted. The agent arrives on time as requested by a national homebuilder as part of their part exchange program. Connells Rugby send out a "Experienced Sales Negotiator" armed with a smart phone to take photo's of our property :-( Oh dear. After waiting a few weeks for a valuation I call to try and understand what was taking so long. Unfortunately when you call Connells and are advised that Matt or Chantelle will call you back, they never do. For some reason Connells give a price based on similar properties in the area that are advertised for sale, when logic would suggest they should be looking at sold house prices to get a more accurate figure. Despite various conversations and lack of research they have caused us further delay and failing to return calls just adds to the frustration.

2nd poor experience with Connell’s where they have been unable to host me for a viewing before the property gets sold.
On this occasion the operator told me that the earliest availability to view a property was in a weeks time and I explained to her that last time this happened I missed out on a property ! She assured me I would be the first person to view the property ( as I called so early)! I have just received a phone call to say the property sold 2 days ago !

Connells recently sold our house (and we purchased through them too) and they were fantastic. They have changed my opinion on estate agents. From the valuation to completion they looked after us, communicated with us and it felt like they had our best interests at heart. Huge shout out to Freddie who worked tirelessly to keep on top of the chain. I genuinely couldn't be happier with their service and would highly recommend. They listened to us, never pushed us to use other services and we're brilliant when our first buyer fell through. Far better than the experience I had with another estate agents in Rugby when we purchased our first house. Frederieke was nothing but professional and transparent when conducting a viewing and had great knowledge about the property when asked questions.
Connells brokerage has also been fantastic, attentive and proactive. I cannot recommend Beth enough and have zero doubts their professionalism will continue during our transaction.

We had a really good experience using Connells in Rugby. The whole team are lovely and very helpful particularly Liam and Jake who are very professional and also friendly. They always kept us updated and called back when they said they would . I also felt they pushed really hard to make sure they mentioned our property for sale to as many customers as possible. They called often just to check inwhen things were a bit slow in lockdown. We were on with another agent for a time but found they were not nearly as attentive! We got our first mortgage with a Connells broker in 2017 and would also recommend anyone to sign up with the life time broker service. All-round really good estate agents. Thanks Connells!

I purchased my new home through Connells less than a year ago, and I absolutey love it. Connells helped to ease the stress of moving.
The staff at Connells, Rugby, were great, but especially Alex, who was absolutely fantastic right from the start: from showing me the property, right through to completion. With Connells, I felt like I had my own personal estate agent who had not only the business' but also my best interest and that of the seller's at heart.
At a very stressful time, Alex eased pressures and stress by frequently updating me on matters, giving truthful, realistic time frames and information. She put me in touch with other professional services and explained processes clearly. Alex was definitely the strongest 'link' in the house selling and buying chain of events that I have ever experienced: aiding communication and helping to keep all parties calm and things progressing as best she could.
There were many hiccups along the way, due to my personal circumstances and my buyers pulling out (via another agent in another part of the UK where the housing market was very slow), but nothing was too much trouble for Alex, who was always thinking ahead of ways she could help to keep her clients happy and achieve completion along the chain in the least amount of time and with the minimum amount of stress and disruption for everyone. Through her enquiries, she put me in touch with one of Connells' sister agents (in the part of the UK I was moving from) to help get my property sold so that I could continue with my purchase and get the chain up and running again. I did end up back on track to purchsing the house I wanted.
I couldn't fault Connells. Alex was highly efficient, calm, very proactive and approachable, with a professional, friendly, curteous manner at all times and her dedication, positivity and enthusiasm was instrumental in securing me a sale and in me purchasing the house I now love and am very happy in.

From start to finish the team at Connells, specifically Alex and Thomas, made the daunting decision of buying a new house a better experience. The stressor of paperwork, solicitors, emails, viewings, surveys, mortgages and every other little thing, which we did not know anything about, was shared and reduced by having genuinely friendly and helpful people in your corner. Yes there were a few times we had to chase them up with updates on how the sale was going, but when we spoke they were never cryptic. They always laid the information out bare and spoke to us as we were on the same level as them, if there was something we didn't understand they would explain it clearly so we knew exactly what we were doing or going into. Finding us a mortgage was the most important and stressful thing for this whole process, and they worked to get one best suited to our non standard house. I would recommend them to friends and family, even though we held our breath until the final hour we wouldn't have gotten there without the help from Connells team.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, polite and courteous and they managed to help us to get the solicitors to get a wriggle on. I used connells to remortgage, we had our initial meeting with Matt the mortgage manager who was extremely helpful and informative. He explained everything clearly, and didn’t use jargon. He advised us on our help to buy loan and was able to direct us on what to do for the best. He was quick to respond with any queries and questions. I would recommended Matt and the team at connells in Rugby to anyone! Thanks again.

When we renting or buying house, we are not dealing with seller directly but with agent. Agent must have good relationship with seller and should be good at psychology, to deal with both parts, seller and buyer.
I got experience to be involved in buying a house, unfortunately this was bad experience.
Our situation was different and complicated, and when it became more complicated we did not hold back until last possible moment, we straight away informed agency about it. We desperately wanted that particular property and we was looking for solution.
From beginning we got impression that agency making that helpful step towards us and we came to agreement,which made us happy and grateful even if there was more money involved than previously was agreed.
We were ready to do anything not to lose property and seller used that obstacle.
But then we got news that our deal is off.
We literally was messed around for 3 weeks, and called untrustworthy (but everything proved that sellers party was the one we could not trust).
WHY WOULD WE GO THROUGH ALL THIS TROUBLE IF WE WERE NOT HONEST?
So, who did not do the work? Who or what is to blame? Seller? Who could not make his mind up, or agent, who was dealing with both parts and was dependent of house sell.
How ever, we experienced undeserved humiliation, this would not happen if agency said straight away there can't be solution.
I am sorry that I could not write positive review,maybe next time.....

Where to begin?
Took £150+ up front for a "premium package", didn't get the property onto the market/Rightmove for two weeks and even then the property details were really basic and missing key information (e.g. no mention of off-street parking).
No sense of urgency whatsoever and slow to respond to communications. To top it all off the branch manager promised to call me last Monday to sort it out as it was clear I was at the end of my tether. He eventually called (after a chaser email Monday evening) on Tuesday at around 1100 saying he had been "busy" on the Monday. He obviously knew he'd failed us as he let us out of our contract without an notice.
Compare this to the new agent we went with (Payne's) who couldn't have been more responsive and got the property onto Rightmove within 48 hours, with better photos and property details, and without the need to pay for "premium" package.
