What can I say? Ross and Dan, were so patient with me when trying to sell my house, but wow did they try their hardest to also find me a house, they knew exactly what my fussy self would like and showed me homes I wouldn’t have considered myself but ended up loving, kind of reinstated that sometimes estate agents aren’t evil and do know what they are doing. Ciara and grace were also great with updating me on viewings on my sale etc.
I have to give a special massive shout out to Amanda the sales progressor! Finally met my match in terms of tenacity and just being on it to get my sale over the line. She’s a god send in what has been such a stressful time of my life. We finally exchanged yesterday and it’s all thanks to Amanda!
Would easily use Durden and hunt again if I decide to torture myself by moving again as they do make it so much less painful.

Dan (the Assistant Branch Manager) gave a fair valuation and was proactive in finding us a buyer. The photographs were high quality, showing the property at its best.
Our house sale then involved a complex chain but Amanda (Sales Progressor) and Dan pulled out all the stops to get it over the line.
Overall a friendly team and would recommend them to anyone selling a home in the area.

After living in our home for 21 years I didn’t want to sell my home with a ‘sales man pitch’. It’s brought such lovely memories.
Ross came to our house to discuss if we went with his team to sell our property what we’d expect.
On that day I met 4 other estate agents.
We chatted about life, what we expected from our sale and Ross was so normal.
Empathetic and not fake about how I felt about selling our home.
Not one pushy, rude comment or lie left his mouth (that I could tell).
He is just a genuine guy who will sell your home to the right person and he generally knows the right person already.
Our purchase actually took 9 months so I now feel like Durden and hunt are my family ????.
Amanda became my sales progressor and has listened to me moan and shout for months through the stress the move caused me.
They’ve both been there for us all the way, listening and finding solutions.
They’ve been simply amazing.
We also viewed properties along the way with Keira that Daniel organised who are equally as amazing!
I won’t be moving any time soon but if and when I do I will only be going with Durden and hunt Hornchurch.

Ross Chimes, Amanda Start were superb - We exchanged contract yesterday and the service, support has been exceptional. Cannot fault anything as Amanda has been following up with us at all times to keep us informed of progress, issues, challenges, positive trends etc keeping our selling journey less stressful. From putting house on market to exchange has taken around 3 months. At the start I dealt with Daniel who lined up potential buyers and did the viewings for me. He was contactable and proactive in getting the right people into the property and secured a sale at asking price within 2 weeks, reviewing the best potential buyer based on their position. Once offer was accepted I dealt with Amanda Stark who is their sales progressor. She was in contact with me with updates frequently. She was so friendly and chatty and totally understood the assignment. She chased the rest of the chain and was so proactive with solicitors and getting things moving. Durden and Hunt are the best estate agent in Hornchuch, in my humble opinion.
Grace was easy to contact, which is more than you can say for most.
Without Amanda, we wouldn't be moving into our house this weekend. The fact D&H employ someone just to progress deals makes all the difference.
I've used a few estate agents and this has been the best one.
P.s - I didn't use their solicitor, opting for a cheaper option. I soon came to regret that decision. If I could go back, I'd pay slightly more, as it nearly cost me the deal.
P.s.s Ross was also super helpful and accommodating.
