Leah talked me through every stage of the process , supporting me around all the information that i would need and giving me the knowledge and understanding of the whole process . We are first time buyers and the process when coming to terms with buying a home were overwhelming and daunting. We then met Leah Stephen’s.
With many questions which may have been obvious, a bit silly, or even a bit complex Leah has been on hand to make us feel at ease and relieve all our stresses.
Leah has guided us through this whole process making it feel like a breeze, whether that’s going out of her way to answer questions or concerns outside of work hours, or just simply making us feel comfort when a problem has occurred.
We honestly couldn’t have done this without her. We have been made to feel like her only client even though there are many. Not going more than a matter of hours without an in depth answer or easy to understand explanation of each process and concern.

I just had the most terrifying experience with this company. They follow up with you when your looking for a property and minute you inform them politely your requirement is fulfilled they bang the phone to your face. You really need to train your staff to behave with prospective clients. Its high time we take customer service seriously.

From the day of the valuation with Jackie Whitcher, we were most impressed with the professionalism, positive outlook and enthusiasm displayed; the sale was theirs from that moment.
The sales details and listings on websites captured all the salient features of the property.
The sales information system kept us informed of all potential buyers and an offer was accepted approximately 6 weeks after listing.
Contact by telephone was the only method we used after the offer and I can say that our calls were answered promptly by John Leach and that he was abreast of the current position at all times and returned calls with updates as appropriate.

We met with an agent from here when viewing one of their properties, that experience was fine.
We then agreed to put our house on the market with them and paid £118 to have the photographs done, they said they used professional photographers so it incurred a charge which we were happy to pay because the F&S rep who came to the house said this is standard practice and they do it that way because the photos are fantastic quality and generate interest!!
Photographer came and went and within a week we had a copy of the photographs........the grey floors were orange, the rooms were distorted, the grey cabin was blue, and so on! We refused to 'Go Live' and informed them of the problem .... the branch partner said he couldn't see a problem with the photos they look fine to him, and it doesn't matter anyway because the pictures were taken so have to be paid for!
We simultaneously received an email from another member of staff apologising for the poor picture quality ......'I can only imagine something has changed them when the photographer sent them off for retouching' .....
So I have a question...we paid £118 for a professional photographer to come to the house and take pictures, why would that professional then send his pictures off to someone else to edit?
This whole situation stinks! This is one giant CON!! so BEWARE and ensure you check out other Estate Agents before signing anything!
That of course wasn't the only thing - we made an offer on a property they were managing - we never heard anything back after making the offer. That in itself is poor business practice!! and it doesn't inspire confidence when putting your own property on the market with them. We found a property on Hayling Island with a Fox and Sons for sale board outside. We searched on the Fox and Sons website for details but they had nothing for Hayling Island. We called to enquire and they said there was nothing for Hayling Island even with the full address given. No point really..... Can't understand the purpose of this estate agent company???? I hope the seller isn't paying any fees

The worst of the worst. Sanctimonious and very rude. They've forget who their customers and try and try and treat you like a friend instead of a customer. Avoid at all costs. Hope you take the advice.

Whilst our house sold via Fox & Sons within a couple of days of posting online we found the office to be uncommunicative, had to chase for information and there seemed to be a general lack of knowledge of the situation resulting in us, and our buyers, having to do a great deal of the leg work with the solicitors and other estate agents involved. We went with Fox & Sons based on a great initial conversation at the valuation but it seemed to go downhill from there. Unfortunately I would not recommend them.

Olivia very helpful and professional throughout dealings - however very disappointing interaction with ‘Branch Partner’ who was obtuse, ignored emails and lacked customer service skills. No understanding of the situation and provided sellers with false information due to clear lack of understanding of the situation creating further stress in an already stressful situation.

We dealt with fox and sons as buyers of a bungalow. This is a positive review and the negative story only had a happy ending because of Olivia, who is an estate agent there. My husband and I had the longest, most drawn out experience of selling/buying you could ever imagine. On our completion day, we were actually waiting at the estate agent for keys to be told at 16:50 that they would not be released to us as the money had not been received by the sellers solicitor. Our solicitor had assured us this had been sent, so with a heavy heart and a sinking feeling we went to a van with all of our worldly possessions inside, freezing on the 1st of December unable to get a hotel due to lockdown and unknowing what to do. Needless to say, we thought all hope was lost, until 17:15 when Olivia called us and told us we could come and get our keys. Olivia really went to bat for us, she is a very caring person and I genuinely think without her in our corner we would have spent the night cramped in a freezing cold Ford transit. It was Olivia that pushed this through and I firmly believe that anyone wanting to buy a house is in good hands with this young, professional, and exceptionally competent young lady. Use Fox and Sons, if they could get us sorted with all of the solicitors issues we had, they can sort anything out.

I was previously on the market with another local agent for 4 months and in that time I had 2 viewings.
I got a leaflet through the door from Fox & Sons, I gave them a call eventually ended up going on the market with them.
After 7 viewings it sold in 2 months. Absolutely over the moon and can't thank the Fox & Sons team enough.
