Initially swayed by credible vision of how to approach the sale of our property, we signed up with Henry Adams for an initial 12w minimum term. Photos were taken and floorplans drawn-up, and the first issues appeared, with rooms incorrectly labelled, walls and doorways where they were none, etc. Basic stuff. We were offered drone footage, which never subsequently materialised, even after chasing. Once particulars remediated, communications were relatively proactive for the first month or so, but thereafter we noted that requests for updates were typically met with rather 'stock' replies referring to 'extensive marketing activities', but little actual *detail* of what was being undertaken on our behalf. At around 7w in, we were assigned a new Rep at the branch, who was supposedly our new point of contact. After a sole viewing introduced at 8w, we later sought further regular contact from said Rep, then at around 12w elapsed received an out of office, for a 2w summer break (fair enough). Subsequent mails were then met with further out of offices, but this time with no return date specified (we never did find out whether they returned to the office). At 17w, and with scant further communication received and no apparent further progress, we mailed the Branch to advise of our decision to terminate marketing, receiving an automated reply to notify that our initial primary Rep with whom we'd signed-up had now left the company(!) - which rather validated our decision, we felt. Not totally convinced that *anyone* was actively managing our sale for the final month or so! (They certainly weren't proactively communicating with us if they were?). Final disappointment was to receive a substantial invoice in respect of withdrawal fees at variance with the actual T&Cs we had signed with our initial (departed) Rep, which clearly we declined to settle (and was subsequently agreed 'waived'). Summary: NOT a wonderful Agency experience, and a feeling of having somehow 'fallen between the cracks'. TL/DR: Initial floorplans were nonsense, and offered drone footage never materialised. Scant proactive communication after first month or so, and with little detail of activities undertaken shared thereafter ('stock-replies' only when chased). Disappearing Reps (with no notice/return date). Single viewing secured over course of 19w. Erroneously invoiced for several hundred pounds of withdrawal fees at termination. Recommended? Draw your own conclusions.... Read more

After a rocky start (there were a whole load of errors on the draft details and it was clear that they had simply copy and pasted the details from a previous marketing of the house, without noting that an extension had been built - which caused us to question their fee!), things improved markedly. Communication with the sales team in the Emsworth office was efficient and timely and the sale was completed within 6 months of going on the market and with minimal fuss. Thank you.... Read more

Byron went above and beyond by contacting the Havant Borough Council just to get a residential parking permit for me. His customer service is simply fantastic.
