Initially after meeting with a few different agents we chose to use Jane Hills from Sandersons because she had something very different from the other three agents we met with. Her 40 years of expertise and experience showed, and we liked and trusted her.
We have been on the brink of putting our house live on the market three times over the last three years but had to pull back for different reasons. If you're selling a house in the Ashford area, go straight to Sandersons! I have personal experience with a number of other local agents and they do not stack up to the quality and professionalism of Sandersons. You wont be disappointed and they are worth every penny. My house sale/purchase journey has been rather tricky due to an awkward chain, but Karen and Jackie worked tirelessly to get the sale completed. Karen especially went above and beyond to communicate/liaise with all parties involved with the chain, and without her hard work and personable approach we would not have got the result we wanted. Highly professional service and always available at the end of the phone. Photos/marketing was superb, which truly helped find a buyer and increase sale value. I highly recommend.

Selling a house is frustrating enough at the best of times but given the pandemic, I don't see how this could have gone much smoother. They were quick off the mark on every issue that mattered, explained things in very simple terms and knew how to get the most out of a market listing, with included professional photography and floor plans. I had a seller less than two weeks after going to market, which is excellent.

Cant give -5 stars, so 1 has to be okay with me apparently- this is the same treatment I get everywhere, force you to comply to an answer you dont want. MY RATING IS -5 FOR SANDERSONS, NOT 1.
Sandersons refused me my rights to ask questions about how my data is being processed and verified. They hire an unregulated 3rd party company - LetAliiance - this company told me directly (I have proof) that they are unregulated. So you give you personal data to an unregulated company on behalf of Sandersons.
Absolutely unprofessional, demeaning, and downright disrespectful cowards who are afraid of being held to account.
START ASKING QUESTIONS PEOPLE - Youll realise you have no rights in England privately renting., and you just have to except their unregulated rent prices and unjustified wage caps etc. - ITS ALL UNREGULATED, and you are only ever 2 months away from being evicted at at any point - Section 21 Eviction. They can force you to be homeless just because they are having a bad day and dont want to listen to you complain about them.

We started with an online agent over a year ago - thinking house selling would be quick and simple... After 6 months we switched to Sandersons (Ashford branch) and sold within weeks. The staff were knowledgable, efficient, engaged, easily contactable and negotiated the price perfectly.
I hadn't thought much about the post-offer side of things, so when our house sale got complicated I was completely in Sanderson's hands. I realise now that post-offer is where the majority of the work is for an estate agent, and we simply couldn't have navigated this with an online agent. Antony was fantastic: knowledgable, calm, personable and contactable. He kept our buyers onboard though months of issues and got the sale through. The communication was second to none: I never had to chase for information and all my questions were answered immediately. They also recommended fantastic solicitors and surveyors who all talk to each other making the process simple. Sandersons negotiated the trickiest of sales with skill and professionalism. I can't recommend them enough. If you're planning to sell your house, go with Sandersons. They really are worth every penny. I never leave reviews but in this case I was motivated to share my views.
