Tenant moved out in 2024, outstanding rent still not recovered due to staff not following up with credit control Dept and not providing the information until recently, lack of communication between staff, staff left without sorting issues! In process of trying to get outstanding payment ect..

After confirming multiple times that the landlord was happy with a short six month tenancy with payment up front, we viewed the property and then waited two weeks for them to tell us they are not happy with a six month tendency. We cancelled other viewings based on them saying they want to get the ball moving fast.
Didnt even let us know they landlord wasnt happy, we had to chase them.
Being a landlord ourselves we would not be happy with them managing our property and being a tenant not being kept up to date is not acceptable.

Started of great, lovely feel and impression with meeting Gill - really felt she wanted to sell our house but after goin live never saw or spoke to Gill again!! 6months - only 5 viewings, multiple on the day cancellations, lack of communication and unwillingness to help us explore more avenues to sell faster, and the photos of our house were extremely poor quality. They are thieves and dishonest people!If you want to rent a property stay away from them. They do not give you your deposit back. They also work with the landlord to charge you money for repairs or other things that you did not cause. When they do the check out, they do not let you know and only if you chase them constantly they reply to you with a list of things that you need to pay but they were not caused by you. After more than 6months without receiving the moneywe are escalating the case

The service we found at Your Move Ashford was really excellent. We told them our situation and need to find a new private rental property, the agent who was helping us was Martha Lines she was extremely helpful. Our case became complicated due to issues with some other parties. She worked very diligently and continued till we got the keys. She always answered our questions no matter how frustrating things became, she kept working hard to get us the house.

Professionalism 0% customer service 0% tenant application fairness 0% DO NOT USE...
Went to see a house on imperial way viewing very unprofessional and slap dash told we get a link to apply to landlord by the next day... a few phone calls to them told the person is out they will do it when get back, end of the day no link, rang up morning after and spoke to Martha who said she will do it, still nothing rang up to speak to manager who on holiday and pass to Martha again told be done within the hour, still nothing rang back Martha's now out and will be done by the end of the day. Next thing 33 imperial way is let agreed, due to the staff we missed out and didn't get a fair chance of applying for it especially when your current landlord is selling up and your desperate for a new home......

Absolutely shocking! Staff very unhelpful and rude on the phone, and after leaving the property trying to get your deposit back was ridiculous I waited from vacation beginning of July till September and that was because I opened a case against them. Would never use these estate agents again!

It has been a while since we've rented our house out and with all the new government changes our minds were put to rest with the knowledge and guidance we received knowing that they would take care of everything within their management package. Me and my partner made the decision to rent a property in ashford and it just so happened to be your move that was managing it. Prior to selecting a property Steven took the time to show us round 3 different properties he had to offer and was very patient with us. Steven made even the experience of looking at properties simple, mainly because he wasn’t pushy and happy to have a laugh and a joke which gave the process more of a ‘human’ touch whilst maintaining a level of professionalism.
When a property was chosen Steven was very eager to get us in as soon as possible providing regular updates to not just me but my partner alike which doesn’t always happen which was appreciated. I cannot fault Steven and the service that he delivered to us.
We have also had interactions with Kelly at your move. She too has always been incredibly accommodating when spoken to and you do not feel like anything your asking from her is too much.

Very rarely got a response after leaving messages. The only employee that did was Neil Miller who was great.
Bought my property through them and was advised before purchase that I could pay an extra insurance to cover non rent payments and court costs if required. When the property was mine opted to do this but was told I could not as the tenant in place had already been in arrears. I was furious and eventually had to evict the tenant!
Rented the property through them but it was very difficult to get answers or pass on messages. I informed company I was going traveling and the only way I would know about bills was to email me. This information was never passed on and I returned to narrowly avoid a court case against me.
The accounts and maintenance teams are in other places throughout the country and A never talked to B or C.
The maintenance men they employ quoted me to repair work they had previously done themselves and
on sending my own maintenance man in things that were quite frankly not needed. When questioned the reply was the tenant said they wanted it done and agreed it was not needed. Your Move take a cut in any maintenance done through them unlike some other companies!
I decided to sell the property as I did not want to deal with Your Move anymore as I found the full management service I paid for extremely poor apart from Mr Miller.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but have been requested twice from the company to leave one.
I would never use this company again to buy or rent a property I owned through them!

Both Neil and Daniel have been brilliant throughout our sale. With regular updates, all the way even though it took slightly longer than expected but that’s not reflected on them at all.
From the day of introduction, valuation, and marketing we felt they were fully aware of all the was going on.

Why pay the extra £5K more another agent prides themselves in advertising when the seller has their house sold so effortlessly in just a few days. They don't try to push their extortionate priced solicitors onto you either, a pleasure doing business with you, Dan and Neil . If it was zero star I would have choosen it!!! Horrible company and I would strongly recommend to stay away even if it's your last choice. I relocated in UK with 3 kids whatever they said to us, they were changing it after few days with the excuse oh it was a misunderstanding. We told them how important is few things to get done before our arrival because of kids and after one month we arrived with nothing get done, no repairs that they promised and the home was even in worst condition with broken wood and mirror pieces on the floor. Yet they haven't manage to show us how the heating is working something that they promised so we had to stay with no heating with 3 kids. They promised and they even wrote in the contract that will do a basic cleaning because the home was in terrible condition and they didnt even managed that. When I arrived with my 3 kids and obviously I was upset they visited me they apologised for everything and they said they have communication problem with the landlord. They promised to work out everything till next day .... the outcome ? Next day they just dropped an email which bottom line says "that's all we can do, you saw the home and you agreed to take it as it is" something that is absolutely not true. They didnt even care for a family with 3 babies. I won't trust them ever again and I advise you whatever they say or promise to have it written down because they are untrustworthy. By far the worst experience! Zero professionalism and mistreats. I am now in a home with 3 kids and several safety issues and not just dirty but nasty and full of dust it will take days to clean it and bring it in a decent condition. And yet with no heating! At their last email they even said that is not their responsibility to manage to show us how it works why they didnt mention that one month now before our arrival or the last time that we visited uk to arrange everything so we can work it out? All you ask is yes yes yes sure and after is oh we couldn't do it or oh was a misunderstanding! If you have to do business with this office I would say to not trust a single word if you dont have it written and signed.

Do NOT use this company if you are a landlord. Absolutely terrible service. I have made such a mistake opting to go with them. I instructed them to take over my 3 properties fully managed and 6 weeks later, I have still not received my rental incomes. They assure me the tenants have paid, but they cannot give me an answer as to why their Finance Department has not paid me yet. Today, I am contacting the Financial Ombudsman to get involved.

Sales team are good. Wait until you start using them. Angry Tennant that has not had hot water for more than 1/5 on the tenancy. 3 weeks was the longest I have gone! Now its happened again been reported and still nothing. No heating, no hot water and a house that is in a poor state of repair. Other agents would not have even taken the house to market.
