Edit- this review was taken down temporarily, due to abbots reporting it, despite it being a fair and just review. They are upset that their ai photos dont look good, and somebody called them out! Although my 1 star is not only for the ai photos, as they know.<br><br>I could tell you a million reasons as to why this company is the worst letting agency out there, but I will keep it short. Unprofessional workers who treat you awful, and bully you. Peter I will never forget your rudeness, even though they moved you to a different branch, instead of firing you. You are evil and attempt to make tenants lives worse. I do not say this lightly. They also use ai photos to advertise for real properties (making the outside of the house look brand new when in real life, it is crumbled and overgrown). This is clearly a bad choice because you are falsely advertising properties, by enhancing them and making them look significantly more done up and clean than they are. Definitely avoid, if you can!<br><br>I will also add that the fact they tried to hide my review, surely says alot. They know they have done wrong yet they will not correct it. A completely dishonest, disrespectful company. Go diggins or something, at least they use real images of the properties, and dont try to scam you.<br><br>Pictures attatched are some clear ai images used for one of their properties. If you cannot tell, take a moment to look and it will become obvious. The lamp? The weird kitchen decor? Not to even mention that they have completely erased all the peeling wallpaper, the real floor, etc, everything in these images is fake. This is outrageous. (Also weird photo of ai jesus?)

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience!<br>We booked a viewing for a rental property approximately 45 minutes' drive from where we live. We arrived on time, but the letting agent, Lewis, was not there. Another couple was also waiting to view the same property.<br><br>We waited for around 40 minutes and repeatedly tried to contact the agency, without success. Eventually, the current tenants arrived and told us that they had not even been informed that viewings were scheduled for that morning.<br><br>Shortly after we left, Lewis called and apologised, explaining that he had suffered a puncture and a series of other unfortunate circumstances that morning. While unexpected situations can obviously happen, when I mentioned that the tenants themselves were unaware of the scheduled viewings, I was simply told there must have been a misunderstanding.<br><br>Lewis then agreed to arrange another viewing for us. Five working days later, we had received no new appointment, no update and no further communication whatsoever.<br><br>I then checked Rightmove, only to discover that the property had already been let.<br><br>We completely understand that properties can move quickly and that another applicant may ultimately be chosen. What we find unacceptable is being asked to make a 90-minute round trip, waiting 40 minutes for an appointment that nobody attended, being promised a replacement viewing, and then receiving absolutely no follow-up while the property was subsequently let.<br><br>A simple phone call or email would have been the minimum professional courtesy.<br><br>We feel that our time was treated as though it had no value, and the complete lack of communication following what had already been a badly handled viewing has left us extremely disappointed with the service we received.

Lorraine and her team have been very professional and proactive throughout! They achieved nearly 30 viewings in less than 2 months, before the house went under offer. They have a very positive attitude and have always been really helpful and supportive! They have been extremely good at keeping me updated, nothing was too much trouble! They have always been very friendly and welcoming! They have managed to achieve a successful and smooth sale! Well done! Many thanks!

We sold two properties through Abbots quickly and without problems. Josh was knowledgeable about the local area, professional and friendly. Did a much better job than the more expensive agent we tried previously.

We met Mark, who is reasonably new to the job.
But where both impressed by his refreshing approach taken from his own experience with developing and selling his own properties.
Keen and interested to listen and give good advice.
I would recommend him.

enquired on a shared ownership property, their advert states its available to purchase with a 5% deposit. And still does currently, this isn't the case as you can never buy a 100% share of the property there are limited lenders who would provide a mortgage and they all require a 10% deposit along with the fees.
I had mortgage appointments and was told that it was available with a 5% deposit, was given figures and applied for a mortgage in principal. I was then told that the only option was now a 10% deposit, once i said i couldn't do the 10% deposit contact seized to exist. I have called Kings Lynn branch and Hunstanton branch multiple times and only been able to leave a voicemail with no call back, wrote an email of complaint and was told that the mortgage advisor would be in contact 3 weeks ago. I am still yet to receive a call or an email, i wrote another email of complaint a week ago now and have still had no response.
If nothing could be done which i understand, then i would expect at the very least an apology for wasting my time. or an explanation as to why they have continued to advertise the property as being available to buy with a 5% deposit when it is not. I have tried mortgage companies elsewhere and been told the same response about the property only being available to purchase with a 10% deposit as you can never fully own the property.
don't waste your time and look at other estate agents, unless you like being ignored or lied to.
