I don't usually leave negative reviews but after dealing with Belvoir on two separate property purchases, I feel it's important to share MY experience. I am in no way stating that this is representative of other customers.<br><br>As first-time buyers we often felt quite patronised rather than supported. Whenever we raised concerns, they seemed to be brushed aside. When our survey highlighted genuine issues with the property, these were quickly downplayed and put down to the age of the house or met with comments such as "it's sold as seen". We weren't expecting a perfect house but we did expect our concerns to be taken seriously rather than dismissed.<br><br>When we obtained professional quotes for the work identified in our L3 survey and tried to renegotiate, the offer put forward felt quite insulting considering the costs involved. It often felt like there was very little effort to properly understand or represent our position.<br><br>Communication was also frustrating throughout. Arranging viewings was far more difficult than it needed to be, especially for people who work full-time and ended up having to book annual leave to arrange a viewing. We regularly found ourselves being passed from one person to another instead of someone taking ownership and helping to resolve things.<br><br>The most disappointing part is that this wasn't our first poor experience with Belvoir. We previously had to pull out of another purchase they were marketing because of issues we uncovered ourselves regarding the leasehold terms. Had we not done our own due diligence, we could have spent significantly more time and money progressing a purchase that was never right for us. The information provided simply wasn't clear enough and it left us feeling misled.<br><br>Buying a house is stressful enough without having to constantly chase information, double-check facts and fight to have legitimate concerns acknowledged. Thankfully we've now completed on our home, but throughout the process Belvoir added far more stress than support.<br><br>Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend them to other buyers which is a shame considering they represent the majority of the properties in the area.

One of the worst letting experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, emails ignored, phones often not answered, and only after days of chasing did we find out the landlord wouldn’t accept a guarantor, despite this being clear from the start. They completely wasted our time and money.
- Update, in reponse to owner's comment: Terrible, misleading experience. From day one we clearly stated on the offer form that we needed a guarantor, and your agent Daniel explicitly told us this was fine. You then dragged things out for about a week from the last week of November, taking documents and running checks, only to suddenly claim at the end that “the landlord doesn’t accept a guarantor.” That guarantor requirement was on the original form you sent to the landlord, she accepted the offer on that basis, and I even asked again and you confirmed it was okay. Hiding behind “duty of care” after wasting our time and blocking us from renting elsewhere is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Maybe I left a low score review because I experienced extremely poor service from your Stafford branch & maybe I didn't leave any comments because I didn't want any further contact as I gave you plenty of opportunities at the time to resolve any issues which you failed to do.
Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part.

Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.

Just moved into a new property yesterday in Warwick and couldn’t really ask for more from the team at Belvoir Leamington Spa. Tracey and Kerri were responsive, polite and thoroughly professional throughout, getting us feedback from the landlord on our queries in no time at all! Great online systems for referencing and inventory etc making the paperwork stage a doddle!
I’ve rented through 7 agencies over the years and I can confidently say this has been the most pleasant and efficient experience so far! Every faith they’re well equipped to manage the property and support us throughout our tenancy if needed!
