We had a fantastic experience selling our house with Beresford Adams. Carlie was our key contact, and she was outstanding! She was incredibly positive, efficient, and professional from start to finish.
Carlie’s communication and people skills are excellent, and she handled some tricky moments — including delays and issues raised during the survey — with calmness and good humour. Whenever something needed sorting, she always helped to move things forward, particularly when the process became difficult or stressful.
She was always cheerful, responsive and reassuring, and her professionalism, combined with a genuinely warm personality, made what can be a stressful process much easier.
Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Beresford Adams to anyone looking to sell their home.

Great agency. They stuck to the task and kept us in the loop at all times. Carlie gets an espies al mention for her stoic and calm approach to a few tricky moments. But overall, we could not have have for better.

My experience as a tenant in Chester was awful from start to finish. Repairs were slow and painful, getting anything fixed took far too long, and even getting a simple reply from the landlord (via the agent) dragged on for ages. The overall attitude felt like delay, deflect, repeat.
The deposit process was the final straw. When it came to returning the deposit, it felt like they tried to “find” reasons to deduct money rather than handle it fairly. Items were raised that weren’t even listed at check-in, which makes no sens yet you’re expected to either accept it or prepare for a long, stressful challenge to get your own money back. As a tenant you’re at a disadvantage, and it felt like they knew that and relied on the fact most people won’t have the time or energy to fight.
I wouldn’t recommend them to renters. If you do rent through them make sure to document everything!!!

I used these for both selling and buying. Selling: Initially, there were some issues getting the house onto the market because they were a bit lax with the floor plan, which contained numerous errors. This caused some inconvenience and lost an offer of a house. Buying: In contrast, their help through the process of buying a house was excellent. There were numerous issues that *should* have been dealt with by the solicitor, but they just pushed it on to the Estate agent (what do we pay the solicitors for?), who went above and beyond to help resolve things and make sure the sale completed. Even after the sale, they helped negotiate for the previous owners to pay for clearance of rubbish left in the garden (again, should have been the solicitor's job).
