We have just sold our flat which, due to the market and banks, took a long time. In the end we sold by auction. At all times, Nathan, Matt and Shaun at the Saltaire branch were very responsive, pleasant, helpful, and willing to discuss and give advice on our next strategy. On more than one occasion, the help was above and beyond what I assume is their job description, for instance when the final completion was done in a rush, Nathan went round to the flat to check I had left nothing behind. Many thanks.

We have opted to change agents as despite a large number of viewings we have not had a single offer. No constructive feedback or suggestions on what strategy needed to be.
Didn’t feel confident they were marketing proactively or that we would get a sale.

Lily looked after our purchase and we couldn't have asked for someone more attentive! We were kept updated throughout the sale and Lily helped us to chase and push when things felt like they were stagnating. I would be happy to use Dacres again for a purchase and would absolutely trust them with my property sale!

Jonathan and his team have been truly outstanding, from the initial telephone contact to the final transaction, working with Dacres has been a positive experience. Jonathan visited our home, provided a detailed analysis of its market value, the reasoning behind that with appropriate evidence and advised on a suitable marketing strategy.
The support team kept us informed throughout, weekly calls at pre agreed times were scheduled and adhered to.
Excellent service throughout.

18 Months of selling our house, the Good the Bad and the Ugly.
THANK GOODNESS FOR DACRES
We recently concluded a sale with Dacres. Within 2 weeks of going back to market, a flurry of credible block viewings, a higher offer than previous was secured and despite being in a sales chain of 5 the sale completed within 6 months. - they have restored our faith in estate agents.
After attempting to sell our home via another agent, a year long filled with a myriad of problems in pre and after sales culminating in a collapsed sale after 6 months, in which evidence of funds had not even been secured. Disillusioned, downtrodden we resolved to move forward.
Cue Dacres- our experience beginning to end could not have been further away from the preceding horrific year.
What changed in our experience to make this happen:
Working with Jonathan, the valuation was not inflated, fair and entirely realistic, resulting in an offer higher than had previously been warily accepted.
After a wasted year, our desire to move quickly for a move overseas could have been used as a tactic to entice lower than expected offers by other less experienced agents, however this translated into Dacres doing extra work to ensure our block viewings were arranged only by entirely proceed-able buyers, far reducing the amount of viewings, disruption and stress.
The viewings were conducted with a full knowledge base on the property and area.
Feedback was comprehensive, entirely transparent, rather than a marks out of 10 system adding valuable insight to inform future viewings.
Finally the sale process- naturally as a sales chan of 5, it came with challenges but were overcame only by Kelly’s highly capable meticulous proactive management approach and communication skills- always going the extra mile she really drove and kept the progress momentum all the way through.
At each point we were given detailed updates, any queries dealt with promptly.
Finally it was clear from working with Dacres what a strong value based, close knit professional and respectful team they have, we were made to feel a part of that team which I’m convinced was critical in the outcome.
Working with Jonathan and Kelly was an absolute joy, they are excellent at what they do, highly professional and really lovey personable people to work with.
We couldn’t sing their praises high enough or more widely.

The support we received from all the staff at Dacres could not have been better.
We felt totally relaxed asking questions and the guidance given as the sale proceeded was very clear.
Of particular help was the regular feedback we were given. This was so important to us and we felt we were always part of the team.
From the moment Steven outlined the selling process to us, through all the detailed management by Louise, we always felt at ease, confirming that we had chosen the right team to sell our property.

The only element of concern was the property was valued too high and I had to reduce on a couple of occasions and then accepted an offer lower than the reduction.
