Hunters Estate Agents handled the recent conveyancing of my late Mother's property in Scarborough. I found their staff to be very courteous and professional at all times. A special word of thanks to Faye, Maddie and Lauren for all their help and engagement during the conveyancing process.<br><br>The house sale took quite a while to complete, but the Hunters team supported me throughout the whole process, including when there were delays and setbacks. I was very grateful to them for sending me gas and meter readings while I was away from the property. Thank you to the excellent team at Hunters Estate Agents for all your kind support.

Communication was poor to non existent. I seemed to know more about the progress than they did. They blamed the World Cup for lack of interest. I don’t believe they understood the value of the property

I recently bought a house through Hunters Estate Agents in Filey (aswell as assistance from the Scarborough branch).<br><br>The staff were great, really happy to help on numerous occasions when I contacted them and always quick to return my calls.<br><br>Specific thanks to both Aimee (Filey) and Faye (Scarborough) for their assistance during my property purchase (helping with any questions, additional viewings (at short notice), etc. Overall, a great experience ??????

Excellent service- as a landlord living several hundred miles away from property, I've been reliant on Hunters oversight and management of my flat. In particular special mention to Timea H , who has liaised directly with me on a regular basis and organised all the necessary checks and maintenance issues etc., as well as keeping me updated and informed of the changes in legislation.<br>I felt confident in knowing that my tenants were being looked after , and that my property and interests were equally prioritised .Highly recommend this local management service

Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff.
Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition.
Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility.
On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating.
Overall, prospective tenants may wish to ensure maintenance expectations and check-in inventories are clearly documented before signing.
