Very bad experience with Mart & Co.
The flat looked renovated at first, but it was actually very old with many problems. There was serious mould and water damage on the walls, which made living there very uncomfortable. When we reported the mould, we were told it was our responsibility, even though it was clearly a problem with the property.
There was also an ongoing electricity issue. The person who came to check it told us this was an old problem with the property and that it might never be fully fixed. Despite this, we had to live with it for 8 months.
Whenever we reported problems, we were often blamed instead of being helped. At the end of the tenancy they also started pointing out small issues and blaming us for them.
Overall, this was a very stressful experience and I would not recommend renting through Mart & Co.

David the manager was professional and supportive from beginning to end of our purchase, he was always prompt to respond to questions and die everything he could . All staff were pleasant and helpful. A pleasure to have such a great team .

I have no issue with Martins. They did their best in a static market. Wouldn’t it be nice if Estate Agents were prepared to give an honest appraisal of the market activity!!! Roll on the departure of Rachel from Accounts.

When i put my property up with Martin & Co. In Kingston. I told Manjit that I wanted to market my house fir interested developers as my house was a corner plot and had potential to build on to make a couple of apartments on it. Manjit got me the buyer’s I wanted, although it did take a bit of time due to planning permission etc. we got there in the end and I got the asking price I wanted. I am very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend anyone to give Martin & Co a chance to market their property to achieve their asking price. Good work Manjit and your team.

5 Star Review! I’d like to say a big thank you to John and team for all their effort’s in navigating us through what is already a stressful situation but was made worse by the solicitors (please only use recommended solicitors firms). I am grateful for the teams' patience and for not chasing us every 5 minutes like the previous agents (Hun***s). Thank you once again! Wishing the firm the very best.
