Very bad experience with Mart & Co.
The flat looked renovated at first, but it was actually very old with many problems. There was serious mould and water damage on the walls, which made living there very uncomfortable. When we reported the mould, we were told it was our responsibility, even though it was clearly a problem with the property.
There was also an ongoing electricity issue. The person who came to check it told us this was an old problem with the property and that it might never be fully fixed. Despite this, we had to live with it for 8 months.
Whenever we reported problems, we were often blamed instead of being helped. At the end of the tenancy they also started pointing out small issues and blaming us for them.
Overall, this was a very stressful experience and I would not recommend renting through Mart & Co.

First time we’ve used Martin & Co, they were recommended to us .Excellent photos,video etc .
Travis showed the first viewers round and we sold on that viewing. He kept us posted on all updates and went above and beyond to help the process run smoothly.Regular phone calls between us both which he never failed to answer. Don’t think I’d have managed without his help .A massive thank you to you .

Wouldn't recommend this company jobs reported when vulnerable take over a week to sort out can never get hold of who you need to calls never get returned antisocial behaviour doesn't get sorted I've moved from bad to worse a day late on rent they soon contact you though.... looks like I'm house hunting again. I've reported numerous times the same people to no avail it's got to the point I've said forget it also if you unfortunately do get housed with this company please check bins before deposit rent and tenancy is signed mine was all full infested and took them over 4 months to empty the council refused rightly so as its the company and landlords fault also check your out house mines still full it's terrible. Especially when the rents so expensive aswell

This is the first time I've rented a place on my own I had no idea what I was doing...bit daunting if I'm honest....booked my viewing and was met by the lovely Alexandra from Beeston branch.
She made me feel instantly at ease and explained everything to me and made this whole process a dream!! She's been amazing the whole way and I got my keys today (3rd Feb 2026) would highly recommend based on the service I received and I know if I have any worries or need to ask anything I'll be looked after.

Booked a viewing to see a property on sale. The estate agent couldn't answer any of my questions and couldn't have been more uninterested if he tried. Based on that, I would not want to deal with this company.
