From the beginning, the team were professional, approachable and extremely helpful. Buying a property is a stressful process, but they were always available to answer questions, provide updates and keep everything moving in the right direction. A special thank you to Tanya, who was outstanding throughout. She was very professional, straight to the point and clearly focused on getting things done properly with no messing about. She was proactive, knowledgeable and always willing to help resolve any issues and keep the purchase progressing. Her communication was excellent and she made sure I always knew what was happening at each stage. Honey was also helpful, both during my property viewings and anytime I called the office. She was friendly and professional. Thanks to their professionalism, support and dedication, the purchase was a far more positive and manageable experience than I had expected. When things got tricky she went above and beyond to expedite a solution in a very professional manner. The sales brochure was brilliant, based on Duncan’s excellent knowledge and advice. The support from Vicky Elias and Lucy Lingley-Stephens was also excellent and we were kept informed about progress every step of the way. All round the team at Goodman and Lilley gave superb service and I would recommend them without reservation.
31st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)We used “Which” to find out the best performing local agents, of these we approached Greenwoods first as they have an office within walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient from the start, and Branch Manager, Phil Marsh, took us through every step of the process. From then on, Phil kept us informed and responded to all of our queries. He consistently provided all the assistance we needed to obtain a sale. We would recommend the Wells Road branch without hesitation.

It was easy to make the appointment and it was evident that Leah had done her research when she arrived. She came armed with information about sales in the locality and undertook a thoughtful appraisal of the property. Leah followed up quickly by email with her assessment. I chose Taylors because I could see they are active in the locality and will remain in contact as our plans firm up. I would strongly recommend Leah.

29th Apr 2025 (10 mo. ago)We viewed a commercial unit in March 2025. We liked the unit and so were asked to put forward a proposal as there were other interested parties. We were then asked to put forward a further best and final offer. Following that, over one month later we have never heard from Alder King, despite chasing several times. Incredibly rude and unprofessional.

27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Anthony was Incredible; this is a boutique estate agent and focuses on every little detail to ensure the house is sold. From the premium photography to the realistic market valuation of the flat. We got an offer accepted within 2 weeks.
2nd Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)Exceptionally poor communication throughout. Complaints process a sham. High staff turn over with no real single point of contact or person showing your property so a complete lack of consistency.
9th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)If you’re a student, I’d seriously think twice before renting with this agency. From the start, the flat was handed over in a poor condition but labelled “professionally cleaned.” Then when we moved out, they tried to hit us with an absurd cleaning fee on top of everything else. When I pushed back, they shifted the blame instead of taking responsibility. Thankfully, the independent deposit adjudicator ruled in our favour, which pretty much says everything about how fair their claim really was. The whole thing was way more stressful than it needed to be. If you end up/already are renting through them, document absolutely everything, keep records and don’t be scared to challenge unfair charges. And I’m clearly not the only one — a quick look at the other 1* reviews says a lot. Honestly — if you can, just rent somewhere else.

22nd Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)They erected signage in my garden without permission, and have failed to collect it now for ~3 months. I’ve called and requested its collection on three different occasions. It’s been littering the public footpath for a month now. That being said, the local dogs have taken a liking to it.
