20th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

19th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.
26th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Chris has been fantastic the whole way through the process. From initial conversation to putting the house on the market. He was consistent throughout with his communication and dialogue making things less stressful for my partner and I which she was worried about esp around Christmas time with younger kids. Would recommend chris 100% and no doubt will be asking for his help again in the future

I had one small issue with a viewing being missed by the agent but didn't affect the speedy selling of my house

31st Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)We had a very positive experience using Remax for the sale of my Mum's house. Colin Young went out of his way to assist us in every way. My sister and I don't live in carluke and he did everything he could to help us, even on one occasion going in to the house to turn off a light we'd inadvertently left on. Picking up keys from mum in her new flat, as we werent able to drop them in to him.. Would highly recommend Remax Carluke and Colin is a great asset to the company.- 14th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Just sold my house today, where do I start, phenomenal company from start to finish, very professional in every way. Kept well informed everyday with viewings, feedback from viewings, Erin, Sarah, Aidan and Adam work to a very high standard, never felt as if I was bothering them with questions always happy to help. 23rd Feb 2026 (24 days ago)Trust the reviews and listen to what George Reynold’s erratic responses tell you - this is how they communicate with you regarding everything tenancy-related. I won’t even be able to scratch the surface regarding all the hassle and unprofessionalism I’ve experienced in one review. Failed to meet the repair standard for very long list of issues, and rather than deal with any of them they issued notice to leave after telling me to move out if I wasn’t happy. Stayed in the property one month past the 3 month deadline (and paid for this!) and they tried to claim my whole deposit on the grounds I ‘absconded’ from the property and didn’t return keys. Saw this coming so sent them by tracked post. They continued to send me arrears emails/letters months after I moved out, despite them issuing the notice.. They don’t have a clue about the law so if you’re in desperate need of housing (I’d still stay clear) and willing to take a chance with these goons, know your rights. I’ve only just got my deposit back 4 months after leaving after having to go through the adjudication process. AVOID. Let’s see what response this one gets ????????
5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.
5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

His approach is entirely customer-focused, and his level of service goes far beyond what most agents deliver. He recently sold a family property that was deeply sentimental to me, and the care he showed throughout the process was exceptional. Scott personally handled everything from selecting the photos and writing the listing content to conducting every viewing himself. The result was a sale handled with real understanding, tact and professionalism. From his first valuation and market guidance to achieving nearly 10% over the Home Report value, every part of his work was first class. Scott is a pleasure to work with, outstanding at what he does, and my go-to estate agent in Scotland. I’d recommend him without hesitation.

15th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)Extremely unprofessional experience with agent Alan Shields. We had a viewing booked for the 8th, but the agent, Alan Shields, moved it to the 13th because he was on holiday. We accepted this without any issue. On the 13th he informed us that he was travelling to Aberdeen and would contact us later that day to arrange a new viewing time. He never contacted us — we waited the entire day. Later we found out that the flat was already marked as under offer. At no point did he inform us that the property status had changed, even though he knew we were waiting for the rescheduled viewing. On the 14th, around lunchtime, I sent him a message asking for an update. He replied that he would call me “soon”, but he never called at all. We later learned that an offer was made on the 14th. This means we never even had the chance to view the property because the agent failed to keep his commitments and completely failed to communicate. He doesn’t even know how much we would have offered — because he never gave us the opportunity to view the flat or express our interest properly. I can’t believe how some adults behave like children—ignoring responsibilities, making excuses, and causing unnecessary problems. It’s frustrating to see such immaturity and lack of professionalism from someone who should know better. We rearranged our schedules twice and were genuinely interested in the property, but we were never given the opportunity to make an offer. This behaviour is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the agency. I would not recommend them based on this experience.

I initially started off with a solicitor estate agent, and sat on the market for the best part of a year with very little viewings. I contact Nicola and after speaking with her decided to proceed. I was blown away with the service, she prepared my house for the photographs. It made such a difference and she was genuinely excited about showing my property. Two months in and we received an offer. Nicola came round on the day of the move to make sure we were on track. She has a very calming, caring nature, whilst efficiently guiding you. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience.
19th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)It was a pleasure working with Gavin and Lisa when selling our house. From start to finish Gavin was friendly, approachable and very professional. There were a few issues along the way and it was a particularly long process with buying and selling (through absolutely no fault of Gavin or Arrowhead ), and Gavin kept us up to date and advised throughout and was particularly helpful getting things over the line as our deadline approached. Would highly recommend using Gavin and his team and would use them ourselves if we’re ever brave enough to move again. Thanks to all.

The buyer was found and an initial deal was concluded within the first few days so their network targeted the right people. Right throughout we were kept up to date and when he hit a slight bump they made sure the buyer was still on board. We would be very happy to recommend Watson Estate Agents.

Joe managed to sell our property in less than a week, and for over the Home Report value, which exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, he was incredibly responsive to messages, always on the ball, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the process. He consistently kept us updated on proceedings, so we always knew exactly where things stood. On top of that, Joe is genuinely friendly, approachable, and extremely helpful — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We would highly recommend Joe and RE/MAX to anyone looking to sell their home. A fantastic experience all round!
