I spoke to him, viewed the property, and everything was completed within the same day. Paperwork sorted and agreements signed. I honestly couldn’t believe how smooth it was. Even when he was put in an uncomfortable situation, through no fault of his own, he handled it extremely professionally, which helped me feel comfortable as well. A real credit to his role. 2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Every nightmare story you've ever heard about an estate agent is personified in these guys. Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".
4th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)We had to find a new rental place in Forest Hill at fairly short notice, and Emma at Hamptons Dulwich was a huge help throughout the process. She was warm, encouraging, and genuinely reassuring at what could have been a pretty stressful time. Communication was quick and clear, and she was always responsive and happy to offer advice along the way. Dealing with the team was easy and straightforward from start to finish. Thanks to Emma, we ended up in the perfect rental place and couldn’t be more grateful. Would happily recommend Hamptons Dulwich to anyone looking to rent in the area.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)I had a great experience with Foxtons - my property was on the market for a while, but the sales team kept the viewings coming regularly. After I had an offer accepted, Kate was amazing at keeping thing progressing through the conveyancing process and made sure to help with any sticking points which I really appreciated! I was not expecting such a personal level of service from a high street estate agent and was very pleasantly surprised - thanks to Liz, Kate and the whole team!

This man should not be on the road, very dangerous driving, stuck his finger out the window as he cut me up doing around 60mph in a road works 40mph on the a428. Then proceeded to overtake an artic lorry while another lorry was oncoming and had to move into the layby. He got that far.... 10 minutes later I seen parked up in waitrose bedford car park, He should not be driving at all let alone CBRE.

25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)I recently sold a property with Acorn, and having had time to reflect on the experience, I wanted to share a few observations. First, I was strongly advised to market the property within a price range and to aim for the higher end of that range. Given current market conditions, this didn’t feel like the right strategy. Ultimately, I deferred to their experience. However, the property ended up selling for £10,000 below the lower end of the original range. From my perspective as both a seller and a buyer, it’s more natural to have a starting price and negotiate (down), rather than inflating expectations and the starting price point. Second, when the buyer raised concerns about potential joist issues in what is an Edwardian property, the messaging felt inconsistent. One week I was reassured that the survey was fine and the joists were not an issue. The following week, I was advised to reduce the price to “mitigate risk” and secure the sale — despite the agreed price already being significantly below the initial range. This shift left me feeling that the priority may have been securing the transaction (and therefore the agents fee), rather than fully representing my best interests. Finally, since receiving the letter confirming the revised sale price before exchange, I have not heard anything further from the agent. The lack of follow-up has made the experience purely transactional, with little sense of ongoing service or interest in my future business. Overall, while the sale did complete, the advice and communication could have been more consistent, transparent, and aligned with my position as the client.

From day one it was obvious how seriously he takes his work — professional, always on top of the details, and genuinely passionate about his job. He was the lynchpin in ensuring the process ran smoothly and acted as an amazing bridge between us and the buyers. I could (and did) pick up the phone to him and he would be able to offer clear guidance and practical solutions efficiently and effectively. It was pleasure from start to finish. Jill Parry was also absolutely excellent and really came through in unlocking the transaction. The whole team around Abidul and Jill were also very impressive and kept everything moving seamlessly. - 18th Oct 2025 (22 weeks ago)Valuation accuracy was slightly off, with a price reduction needed. However market conditions are tough with a lot of uncertainty and they were transparent with this. Initial communication on coming to the market was not great, with my main contact having to repeatedly be chased for updates. But when we got into a flow, communication improved. However first impressions count. Local market knowledge is excellent and with a smallish catchment area and good inter-office network I felt I was well represented.

When we first met, he promised he would find a buyer for my property — a former council home — and he delivered. I moved to Oaks after my previous agent failed to secure a single viewing in six weeks. Oaks arranged viewings every week. Communication was excellent throughout. They set up a WhatsApp group with me and my partner, which made everything quick, clear, and professional. The team also worked incredibly hard to ensure the sale progressed smoothly right to the end, making sure no communication was missed between the legal teams and that everything stayed on track. I would highly recommend Oaks Tulse Hill.
