They are clear from the outset regarding their fees, processes & also managing expectations throughout. They are great with keeping up regular communication & are just generally nice people to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend Cockburn.
9th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)As a first-time buyer, I recently completed on a house purchase that took around five months, and overall I found Onkar and Simon reassuring and helpful throughout the process.<br><br>My job often means I’m unable to answer calls immediately, but I never had any issue returning calls when I was able to, or communicating via email. Calls were generally the quicker option, but it was reassuring to have email as an alternative when needed.<br><br>There were quite a few issues during the purchase that were clearly outside the estate agent’s control, and these understandably created some confusion along the way. Despite this, I found both Onkar and Simon to be fairly reassuring throughout. One particular example was when a chain unexpectedly appeared where there hadn't been one previously. Onkar, despite having only just returned from leave, went out of his way to try to establish what had happened and why.<br><br>As this was my first purchase, having people who were willing to help clarify things and provide some reassurance was particularly appreciated. I can’t really comment on their service from a seller’s perspective, as my interaction with them was naturally limited to the buying side, but based on my experience, I can’t fault them too much and would be happy to recommend them.

They are friendly and kept us informed all the time.<br>After our sale, and when we were in the area afterwards, we went in to say hi, and they were so lovely. Smiley, warm people. 16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Sydney is a complete liar and incompetent. We made an offer and they tried to discourage us, to make us look elsewhere. After stalling and wasting our time for a while, they told us our offer was rejected without any official proof. They are completely unprofessional.

They are incredibly attentive, and made you feel as a customer that they can be relied upon to provide a first class class service at all times. Their fees are very competitive, and with the benefit of hindsight, I made the best possible choice to manage selling and also buying of the properties concerned.<br><br>Top draw stuff ??????????????

Highly competitive fee structure and much fairer than I saw with other companies. My sale was quite complex, with delays and hold ups in the chain that were outside our control, but the team went above and beyond to keep things moving. They handled everything with professionalism, urgency and a personal touch that I really appreciated.<br><br>Communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question, someone was there to answer, and I always felt confident they were working hard behind the scenes. They were approachable, trustworthy and easy to work with throughout.<br><br>A special thank you to John for his patience with my frequent requests for answers and updates, and to Terrence for his work behind the scenes, pushing the sale forward and showing a real urgency to get things done. Thank you also to Jamie for making me feel welcome from the outset and giving me confidence that I’d chosen the right estate agents.<br><br>I really appreciate everyone’s efforts in getting the sale over the line. 9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We chose Acorn to be our estare agent after seeing how quickly they had secured a sale for a neighbour's property.<br><br>We were pleasantly surprised by the valuation from Shem, and were very pleased that the team managed to sell the property for amount they had quoted.<br><br>We had 24 viewings within the first week which generated 8 offers and secured a sale the following week.<br><br>Throughout the whole process the team have kept us informed of the progress of the sale and we would happily recommend them to friends in the area.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.
