2nd Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)Every nightmare story you've ever heard about an estate agent is personified in these guys. Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".

Phillipa was incredibly helpful at every stage, making the process of renting the property much easier. She was always attentive and available to answer our many questions, with clear and consistent communication. Despite several issues that arose during the process, she handled them professionally and supported us at all times until everything was resolved. Thank you so much Kayode - you went above and beyond to make sure it was the right property for me, as well as chasing the sellers when needed. Would recommend working with Kayode from seeing properties to getting to exchange/completion.- 31st Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)I initially approached Acorn to help value my property and get some advice on whether to sell or rent. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful and took the time to talk me through my options, ultimately helping me decide that renting was the right choice for me. Davide was my main contact from the start and throughout the process. He was really friendly, approachable, and always on hand to answer any questions. He made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Overall, the whole experience felt seamless. The team were professional, accommodating, and very easy to work with throughout. I’m really pleased I chose Acorn and I would highly recommend them.
16th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)We cannot recommend Paris Brown highly enough! ?????? ? Honestly, she is just one of those people you feel lucky to have on your side!!!! She took the time to really understand what we needed & not just ticking boxes, but actually getting it, that made such a difference from the start and made us feel at ease. She's warm, empathetic, and genuinely cares. You never feel like just another tenancy to her. It felt like she was looking out for us the whole way through, and would go to bat for us whenever it was needed!!!!! The responsiveness alone sets her apart !!!! she replies so quickly, every time. No waiting around, no wondering if your message got lost. That kind of reliability sounds small but it makes the whole process so much less stressful for us. And the referencing! It's usually such a nightmare. But Paris had everything sorted so efficiently that we were done in under 90 minutes (world record). Genuinely. She was completely on it. If you get Paris, you're in great hands. She's the best, ever!

Due to factors outside of their control, the sale of our flat turned out to be a lengthy process, but I appreciated their advice, persistence and regular communication throughout. I've tried reaching out to you but you never answer left messages for Eric and Ezgi - UNPROFESSIONAL I understand you and some members where off sick but everytime I drove past your office I could see everyone in the office present and working just not answering my call or messages which makes it more unprofessional . I did CALL and try reach out to you and still no response i left whats app messages on two seperate occasions and two different people still no response so from my point of view I was certainly patient and went above and beyond to try get a response from you which never came until I left a review then the response came instantly My main purpose was to sell the property and whilst working with you I felt the only thing you wanted to do was rent my property out for short let's at rock bottom prices which I certainly said no too especially at the low ball figures you offered me( very low figures borderline disturbing) I'm glad I got my property sold with another agent I believe being honest and transparent is very important in this field which I believe in my opinion I didn't receive from you as an agent We all make mistakes if you owned the mistake and apolisged for ignoring me then we could have resolved this Instanly but to say people where sick when I could see them working in the office has certainly left me disappointed in my humble opinion
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They were professional, the person who came round first had really done his research which was impressive, the conversation was thought provoking, they had a great photographer, the agents were nice people. And we received an offer in an unbelievably short time. Impressive all round. Would highly recommend.
