11th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)We were bombarded with forms to fill in and identification processes to go through, then nothing. No communication, no explanations of what would happen and when. Then, unannounced another company ask us for ID, and they turn out to be the auctioneers, although we werent told who would be auctioning the property. Then we had this dreadful document full of questions none of us knew the answers to, and the sort of questions that conveyancing solicitors used to do for the client. She recently managed the rental of my property and was a pleasure to deal with. She was very responsive to my questions about the listing, including making quick amendments to ensure everything was accurate. Her communication is excellent, and she made what could have been a stressful process feel very smooth.

15th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)Stewart was professional and understanding of what we wanted after having our house up for sale before with little interest. He knew how to sell and he did. Then Ben, he kept us up to date with viewings etc, such a fantastic team. There was a slight hold up near the end and Ben was not giving up, he made it that the day we were moving would not change. He went above and beyond to sort out some issues and was up early to do so….such commitment. The team have been fantastic from start to finish. Thank you all
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Tom was wonderful showing us around and answering all of our question about the house. Overall a wonderful experience, thanks Tom!
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

19th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)Please avoid dealing with this agency . we rented a flat with them, there was a leaking from the above the property , we reported the issue , they did not even took the time to come and have a look into it . Very terrible experience, please avoid dealing with them. for a few dust, they are charging us 155 , a big SCAM. This agency does not deserve any star . our daughter was sick twice in this property . dehumidifier was on 24 hrs On . until now, we did not receive our deposit. We raised a complaint but they come back to us with bla bla without a resolution. We are planning to take to ombudsman

From the outset, he stood out as professional, knowledgeable and genuinely personable, easily the most approachable estate agent we dealt with during our search. We actually hoped we’d be able to purchase through him, and we’re very glad that’s how it worked out. Moving house is never straightforward, but Richard made a real difference to our experience. Communication was always prompt, clear and friendly. He was proactive, easy to speak to, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We felt completely comfortable asking questions and always received quick, helpful responses. His calm, positive approach helped steady what can otherwise be a stressful process, and that’s something we truly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard and the team at Miles Byron. If we ever move again (hopefully not for a long time!), he would absolutely be our first choice.
