7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)AWFUL, avoid at all costs. Even if there is a house you are interested in, still avoid not worth the stress one bit. Go elsewhere. I would not even give them 1 star, but I have no choice. The stress they have caused me in my personal life is a utter joke. Never receive a call back, let alone an email response, told me the incorrect information which I have in writing but still not owning up to their mistake. Beth the 'Manager' does not know how to have a professional conversation, talks to everyone like their pal which is so incredibly off putting. Again no accountability from Will Jones, again or any call backs. I even asked for this to be passed over to a Senior Manager and still never received a call back and apparently she looks after 52 branches! They must all be awful. If I ever see the name Chancellors on anything, I will never EVER go anywhere near them and will make sure everyone knows about it. Respectfully it is like a bunch of children are running this business, which is rather sad really. They need training on multiple things and to hire new staff with a proper manner and know what they are doing. Had no choice but to leave this review, as it is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of them. 2 weeks I have been chasing this up. I have rung 5/6 times this morning first thing when they opened (so no valid reason to not answering - I even tried the sales line too) so I am adamant they are just ignoring my calls on purpose which based on my experience so far, I am probably not wrong about. AVOID!

Communication has been great, keeping me in the loop every step of the way.<br>Jakub has been great assisting me with any information needed and any requests required.<br>Maddy has also been a great source of support with any requests.<br>Highly recommend Hamptons to anyone looking for a new home.

He is professional, friendly, very reliable and nothing was too much trouble. I am so grateful for his sensitivity, kindness and the courtesy shown to us all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Irfan to anyone!
16th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)What a wonderful experience my wife and I had buying our first home with Stirling Ackroyd. From the very beginning we had Alex showing us properties in the area and was very transparent and honest when showing us around. He was very quick to bring an absolute bargain to our attention which ultimately became our home. For anyone who knows the process of buying a home even if it’s not your first can always be frustrating with waiting on solicitors. However from the sales progression team there was Suzanna who was very proactive liaising with both buyer and seller solicitors to get the job done. I think ultimately it was Suzanna that gave our solicitors the push they needed to finish and for that a very special thank you to Suzanna for looking after us. 6th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Johnson and Jones Estate Agent were recommended to me to use for the selling of my mother’s property in Chertsey as they were well established in the area and most proficient. Tracy and the team certainly lived up to expectations all the way through the process from valuation to completion. If you’re selling a property and want peace of mind then I would certainly recommend using them.

Communication was clear, and any queries we had were handled promptly and efficiently. 11th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)We had the pleasure of dealing with Livvy Meyrick and Ed Shaw in our Purchase via Knight Frank, recently. As seems to be the consensus (in particular about Livvy) from the other reviews; she was outstanding, hardworking, communicative, quick to jump in is/as required, genuinely cared - and genuinely the best Estate Agent I've ever worked with in over 30 property transactions. She also has a very positive energy about her too - which on a 'human level' is just nice. I've no doubt that Ed and the rest of the Knight Frank team are equally as excellent - but as Livvy was our main contact - she absolutely smashed it. I've no hesitation whatsoever in using Knight Frank for other Purchases or Sales. Their service was consistently outstanding!

Excellent service, brilliant communication, clear instructions and just lovely. I had an amazing experience with this agent and I highly recommend them to anyone who is currently looking for a house in their area. 1st Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Credit where it's due. Despite a slow market, Serena never gave up helping us try to find somewhere, even when I was calling 3 times a day. There's a reason why most homes in this area are sold through Seymour's.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
27th Feb 2026 (19 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
