14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

She made regular contact both via phone and email and researched properties that matched our requirements. 22nd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)The property I had for sale completed at the asking price, and circa four months after the first viewing. Viewings were organised promptly by Aspens following the sales advert and board within the property. I was kept informed as a matter of course, and any questions as to the progress of the sale were handled by Alex White at Aspens. Thoroughly recommended.
2nd Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Stamfords were excellent when we were looking at a property they had listed for sale. Neena was very helpful in arranging the times when we could do a viewing to suit us, and allowed time to look around at our own pace. She was extremely professional, polite and friendly throughout, answering questions and queries without pushing or putting us under pressure. After a second viewing, we decided that the property was not going to be right for us, but that was nothing to do with the experience with Stamfords. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would be very happy to use them again.

10th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)Contacted Galaxy 5 times in regards to taking us of their mailing list. They send 5 emails everyday with names of 5 different people. Never dealt with them or had any interaction with them. Don’t know how they got our email address. There is no option to unsubscribe. Horrible.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

24th Jul 2026 (30 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this company.<br><br>I viewed a property that I genuinely liked and told them on the same day that I wanted to move forward. Throughout the process, Sachin gave the impression that the property was effectively available and that my deposit would be accepted.<br><br>After that, I heard absolutely nothing. There was no update, no courtesy call, and not even a message to say the property had been agreed with someone else. I was simply left waiting.<br><br>The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating. If circumstances change, that’s understandable, but keeping potential tenants informed is the bare minimum.<br><br>Based on my experience, this company has a lot to improve when it comes to customer service and communication.

Very impressed with Dyaun Harvey who progressed the sale and provided excellent guidance and communication throughout the entire process. Great knowledge and understanding of securing a buyer despite many challenges along the way Highly commend and would use their services again.
14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)Gary was a nice guy. The apartment is beautifully presented and should draw interest. The photos had to be done twice due to quality and major plan errors- they knocked 25% off the sq footage! The whole thing felt like there was no selling strategy. Place on the portals and wait for interest, which doesn’t work in this tough market. It was myself that pushed for a price decrease, which brought in 1 viewing in 8 weeks. I was told that the market was stilted and the heatwave meant people were not buying. I believe it was priced wrongly, there was no selling or dynamic marketing strategy. When I initially advised I wanted to leave after 5 weeks, the colleague, Yusuf basically talked over me for 30 mins and finally agreed to reduce the property price. I had been pushing to reduce it from 2 weeks! There was no sense that I was a client. My partner listened in on that call and was surprised at the attitude of Yusuf- not one apology for wrong price or zero communication! I kept pushing for updates but they never really called - it’s because they were not strategically selling it I suspect and were afraid to tell me. It seems to evidence their lack of dynamism. The whole process was a waste of my time unfortunately. I have now gone on with another agent and it already feels more professional. What I don’t understand is- they came up as the top agent on this site, which does not add up- that is not my experience at all.

However, Leon was excellent and I cannot rate him highly enough. He was patient, kind and really took the time to show me the right properties. He worked around my difficult logistics and encouraged me even when I had been disillusioned by other agencies! I always felt in safe hands and trusted his judgement. His follow up was also excellent; keeping me informed every step of the way and stepping in to ensure things went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was only too willing to answer my myriad of questions!
