Rosi and the team were excellent throughout, always keeping us updated and clearly explaining each stage. This made everything feel very straightforward and stress free, especially as it was my first time selling a property. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to use their services.
21st Apr 2026 (17 days ago)During the initial appointment/consultation, Jayne Smith provided an extremely comprehensive overview of the current property market in general as well as in my local area. She explained very clearly about the services offered by herself and McEwan Fraser, making everything clear and transparent. Lots of helpful advice was given as to my options and I felt confident that this was backed up by an array of knowledge and experience. I was given the opportunity to ask plenty of questions and found Jayne very friendly and approachable.

30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Peter Murray made an illegal will for my uncle, Sir Michael Maxwell Bt, in 2013, who was in the depths of frontal lobe dementia (this was against medical and legal advice). They were the sole executor and sole witness to this will. Micheal had been sectioned and told he could not make a will in England prior to this. They hid a relevant doctor’s letter which was only extracted by lawyers. The firm has refused to admit liability despite overwhelming and unequivocal evidence and caused huge headache a heartache for our family over the past 5 years and huge legal costs. They are unprofessional and to be avoided at all costs. They have also stopped family staying at our family home - Monreith- and prevented my mother’s burial there. It is disgusting. The contents of the will are inconceivable to all family and destroy our family’s 800 year history in Dumfries and Galloway.

Her professionalism was matched by her kindness, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. On both occasions, the team was exceptionally personable, supportive and attentive. They consistently went above and beyond, never making anything feel like too much trouble. Selling the family home was particularly emotional and throughout the process, the team demonstrated genuine kindness and understanding, which made an otherwise difficult experience much more manageable. Every member of the team played a part in the sale. It felt like working with an extension of the family as they all knew who I was and were able to assist promptly and effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend Strutt and Parker to anyone seeking an efficient, effective, supportive and compassionate estate agent in Edinburgh.
21st Apr 2026 (17 days ago)We had previously tried to market our plot with Bell Ingram, Oban in 2023/24, with little interest which, at the time, we put down to market forces. We are considering marketing our plot again, so contacted Andrew Fuller on 16 March. Even after two further calls, one text message and two emails we have not heard a thing as at 21 April despite being promised several times that Mr Fuller would be in touch. This is appalling service for an existing customer with property to sell. If it was possible to award zero stars we would, as their service and even communication has been non-existent, and we now wonder whether the previous lack of viewings was down to their lack of effort. We wouldn't now rely on them to market a bag of crisps and have contacted another agent.

19th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)We booked an initial appointment with Your Move to get a feel for the market and to see what their feel was for our property. The guy who came was here 15 minutes, brought no information with him, didn’t know there was a property for sale just a couple of doors down from us and we still haven’t had any costings or information from them four days later. I am guessing they didn’t want to market our property and it would have been great if they had just been straightforward with us rather than waste our time!!!! We had very different experiences with other Estate Agents and have gone elsewhere. I don’t mind that they didn’t want to represent us but some common courtesy would have been nice!

Their professionalism is exceptional, but what truly sets them apart is their kindness and understanding during what is naturally a difficult time. Laura Robb was outstanding throughout. No matter how many questions I had, she always responded quickly, clearly, and with real patience. She made everything easy to understand and gave me complete confidence every step of the way. Mark McMinn, who handled the sale of my uncle’s house, was equally impressive. He kept me fully informed throughout the process and ensured everything progressed seamlessly. What could have been a stressful experience was handled with such efficiency and care that it felt straightforward and well-managed at all times. I cannot recommend JHS Law highly enough. I was initially quite apprehensive about working with solicitors again after a very poor experience during my own recent house sale and purchase. However, JHS Law have completely restored my faith. They are professional, approachable, and truly excellent at what they do. Without hesitation, I will be using them again in the future.

Thanks to Joshua (solicitor with Walker and Sharpe) the whole process was made less stressful than it might have been. Joshua helpfully guided me through each step in the process and kept me fully informed throughout. I cannot recommend Joshua highly enough.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)If you would like your property grossly under valued with a poor sale's team. Or even a valuation that isn't worth the paper it's written on. I highly recommend using DM hall. Disastrous experience in both selling and valuing 2 seperate property's.
