26th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)On behalf of my son Richard…..I was new to buying a property and Hope at Stephensons was the Estate Agent for the sellers. My own online solicitor and the vendors solicitor were quite slow to the point my mortgage offer was only valid for 6 months (took 5 months 2 weeks to completion). To be honest without Hopes additional work over and above working tirelessly with both sets of solicitors I think I would have lost the house purchase. Hope was so helpful and patience with me when I was getting no updates from my own solicitor. Hope went above and beyond her own job description. Thankyou Hope, I am forever grateful to you for getting this over the finish line. Brilliant work.

From Rachel Lindley doing the valuation with her enthusiasm expert knowledge of our area you just know when someone is the right fit and she was that person .prompt polite respectful of the property did everything she said she would. Then Jasmine was our negotiator. Very easy to work with very respectful and diplomatic to both parties buyer and seller again a good fit<br>For our needs. Last but not least Chris the manager always on had with a smile again polite smart enthusiastic very approachable . All these members of Reeds Rains went the extra mile for us and were sympathetic with us .<br>I would recommend them without hesitation.
8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Recently relocated my elderly farther from the Selby area to North Wales.<br>From day one of the valuation through to the exchange and completion,James and his team have been outstanding, consistently updating us, excellent communication between all parties.<br>The whole team at<br>Hunters did a sterling job guiding us through the process<br>Which at times was challenging !<br>I wholeheartedly would recommend using Hunters.

Their knowledge and professionalism have helped me more than I can say. Not only are they excellent at what they do, but their opening hours are longer than anyone else’s allowing people to ring in the evening. My sale had some challenges and these were met by Emma Mitchell in an outstanding way. Having her to help me made a huge, huge difference and I can’t thank her enough. So, to Ben, Victoria, Lauren and Richard and all the team I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for the patience you showed me. I look forward to selling properties with you in the future.

3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I dont usually leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I'd hate for someone else to go through what we did. Me and my partner were meant to move out in July for a house that was "avaliable immediately" we had a move in date confirmed, checks passed, welcome homes had sorted WiFi ect and was told the day we were meant to get the keys that the landlord had decided to sell the property, which if we had been informed at any point we wouldnt have even put in for the house. We had little to no communication from our agent even though we had sent several emails over the weeks leading up to moving in and it wasn't even our agent that told us the house was being sold, it was another agent who we had to email as ours was unresponsive. We tried calling but the voicemail was always full and after we had been told we couldn't have the house it was radio silence, no help with cancelling the wifi that they had set up, no apology for not letting us know anything so we had already given notice to our current landlord and was at risk of being homeless and I STILL haven't had a refund for my holding deposit which should have been refunded first week of July despite me emailing and ringing twice. I understand it was the landlords decision about the house but the lack of communication and empathy is disgusting

Danielle answered every question with patience, guided us through each step, and genuinely made the whole experience feel less overwhelming.<br><br>What stood out most was that her help didn’t stop once the sale completed. She continued to go the extra mile, chasing up our onward purchase and offering advice whenever we needed it. That support made a real difference to us.<br><br>We’re incredibly grateful for everything she did and would recommend Danielle without hesitation. Although we hope it’ll be a long time before we move again, we wouldn’t think twice about using her services in the future or recommending her to others.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co. 18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Had a great experience buying a property through Let Property. Sales process started with a tough negotiation and completion was pretty smooth. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
