I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

3rd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I can honestly say that the service I received from Hunters , particularly Saif Shefe was outstanding. This is not my first house sale , but by far the best support and service I have experienced to date . As things became bogged down with solicitors, Saif took personal charge and moved things along proactively.. He called me regularly and let me know how things were progressing. He personally negotiated with other parties and cleared many obstacles . True to say he went above and beyond to complete this sale in a very reasonable time frame and at an even more reasonable cost . Many thanksBismilla Property Ltd

19th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)The staff at Douglas Allen are lovely, but sadly, I didn't have one viewing. I do feel that after they advertised on line, they just waited for the phone to ring. Having said that, it is currently a difficult market. Perhaps my valuation exceeded customers expectations??? But on the grounds of the company being very approachable and friendly, I would recommend them.

1st Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)I have had a very disappointing experience with this agency. When I moved into the property, it was already in poor and dirty condition, and I have videos showing this at check-in. A few months later, a cockroach infestation started. I immediately reported the issue to both the landlord and the agency, sending photos, videos and emails. However, they only arranged an inspection after one month, just to look at the situation. Even after that visit, no proper action was taken, and I was forced to live in those conditions for two more months. Before leaving the property, I thoroughly cleaned the flat and left it in a much better condition than when I moved in. I have submitted dated photos and videos showing the condition at check-out to DPS as part of a formal deposit dispute. Despite providing clear evidence of the property’s condition at both check-in and check-out, the landlord still requested a £200 deduction from my deposit for cleaning, and the agency did not intervene or support me in any way. This experience has been stressful, unprofessional and unacceptable. I have now raised a formal dispute with DPS and submitted all my evidence. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this agency.

13th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)I chose Purplebricks out of 3 different estate agents because they gave me more facts about what prices were being paid in the area and also gave a realistic quote, it wasn’t too low or too high, and It was sold within the first week.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
