3rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
30th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Its not worth even giving 1 star as the property they are letting or they are managing, they are unable to solve single issue even after 8 months. Every time they just gives answer that they are following with landlord. I would not recommend anyone to go with this agent. As they promise they will do everything and till that day of your moving they will put into delusion and after moving they dont care you will put into queue for months like I mentioned above.<br><br>Even the five star review I believe they might asked there friends to put as this guys are not worth for 2 star for responding.

Though only our property manager for the last few months of our tenancy, Saima was the best one we had by far. Professional, punctual and empathetic to the problems we faced renting one of Hamptons properties, Saima made our experience interacting with Hamptons a lot better than previous property managers. So, the 5-star rating goes to Saima!

19th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)Very positive experience first time renting with this branch! Marcus was our point of contact and was very responsive even beyond his regular working hours. He pushes the process quickly and we got one of our favourite homes in a competitive market with a fair price. The reference checking and contract signing processes are made simple and clear - everything is electronic so we get things moving really quick. Strongly recommend!

We were new to the UK and were having great difficulty getting anyone at agencies across the city to speak with us. Ben accepted us as walk-ins and allowed us to see several units. Ben was very communicative and worked hard to get our offers in front of prospective landlords.<br><br>Ben left such a great impression on us and were thankful for the hard work he put forth on our behalf.

Everything was handled professionally, and I was able to move into my new home quickly without any complications.<br><br>A special thank you to Souliman, who was amazing throughout the entire process. From our very first phone call, he made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. During the viewing, he had all the information that really mattered and answered every question honestly, which gave me complete confidence in my decision.<br><br>I had actually already been accepted for another property, but thanks to Souliman’s professionalism and the excellent service provided by the agency, I chose this one instead—and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team, for making what is usually a stressful experience so easy. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 12th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)Adam (and Max) was fantastic from start to finish in the sale of our Hoxton Square loft. We literally couldn’t have sold it without TBA and their persistence through setback after setback, all of which were out of their control. There is simply not another agent in the East End which will provide a service as tailored as the one which Adam and the rest of the team offer. Do not hesitate to instruct TBA as you will not receive half the service from other agents.

Kit is incredibly responsive, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is progressing well, and all parties are happy. I would absolutely recommend Kit and the team to anyone needing estate agents.

15th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)Really bad experience — I don't recommend this agency at all. Their response rate is very low, and we were never able to resolve some issues we had from the very beginning. We asked the landlord to remove a mattress before we moved in, but this was completely ignored, and the mattress was still included in the inventory. They are very informal and don't help tenants much, making it difficult to communicate with them. We waited six months to get the shower fixed, as it wasn't mixing the water properly. Even at the end, when they were showing our flat to prospective tenants, they left all the doors open and the lights on. Terrible service overall — they made my whole stay a very bad experience. Please avoid signing any contract with Foxtons.
